Reddit groups may have an answer. I tried Google as well. Most pages don't even recognise this as the away shirt lol
I'll give them a try... back in 1998 the blue shirt was originally marketed as the official away shirt, it was also sold as a replica, but come the tournament itself they wore the white strip against Nigeria. That then seemed to become the de facto change kit from that point.

Initially I thought it was due to colour contrast (light/dark) for the World Cup, like what happened in 2014 when Spain wore a white kit instead of the official black change kit. However, given that South Korea and the Netherlands both had blue away kits in 1998, it couldn't have been the case. I had known Spain to wear white change kits at tournaments previously, but continue to wear blue when required to change for other matches, so it's a bit of a mystery.

It looks like between 1998-99 when these sets of kits were worn, Nigeria game aside, Spain wore their home kit in all senior matches.
If all else fails I'll just use the regular home socks given these got used against Norway in the U21 championship.

More ongoing work, and to say these are some of the most difficult jersey sets I've ever done is an understatement.
Borussia Dortmund kits from 1993/94 season. The pattern, the alignment... even the numbers, which you'd have to use Revolution Mod due to their tilted angle using the enableIndividualKitsTeam statement and use filenames such as kit_22_20008_1993.rx3 in the sceneassets/kits folder.

It's so very 90's!!!

I based the away shorts on the white sets worn against Brøndby in the UEFA Cup that season, though the team photograph has got cerise shorts? Also seen some images of the home shirt being worn not just with plain fluorescent yellow socks, but for the home leg of the UEFA Cup match against Inter, a set of older shorts from 1991/92 with a fluorescent yellow arch on the back seemed to be used.

Anyway, I've just got the goalkeeper kits to do, which were based on the shadow fabric print of the outfield shirts, to finish this set off.

The slanted number is a nice touch too!

Sorry been a hectic day today... a good one mind... I'm currently in Blackpool, home of the famous illuminations, but we've brought our own lights! 😄 My team are just one win away from playing in the Championship, for the first time in 43 years (when it was the old Second Division). So if there's any Charlton fans reading this thread... sorry but we're going to beat you this coming Saturday!

Anyway I meant to post these yesterday before I hit the road... but forgot, until now 🤣

DENMARK KITS 1990-92

Denmark would wear these kits during the Euro '92 qualifiers, in which they missed out having finished behind Yugoslavia.
However as we know, the political situation in Yugoslavia such that a UN security council resolution prevented them from taking part, so Denmark would be invited to take their place. You know the rest!

The green and blue goalkeeper kits would be retained when Denmark released new strips for the Euro '92 tournament.

RENT-FREE BI-PLANE FLIERS FC STOCKPORT COUNTY 1995/96 KITS
After a few years wearing blue and red Gola and Superleague kits, Stockport County decided to switch to an all-white strip with blue pinstripes for 1995/96. The kits were made by Beaver, who made a number of lower league clubs strips, but for some reason some "M" logo appeared on the shirt.

The away kit, curiously, was grey, which wasn't very practical. The first-choice goalkeeper strip was bottle green but had an elaborate graphic print on the front that resembled your grandma's rug 😂 there was a rare yellow jersey with black padding used against Carlisle United's dark green away kit, with outfield shorts.

RENT-FREE BI-PLANE FLIERS FC STOCKPORT COUNTY 1996/97 KITS
Stockport switched to adidas in 1996, who signed up a number of Football League clubs that year, and reverted back to a primarily blue jersey.
The third shirt is a dead-ringer for the Romanian home shirt used at Euro '96 😂

Stockport reached the semi-finals of the League Cup, only to be narrowly defeated to Middlesbrough over two legs.

BARCELONA KITS 1996/97
This was peak Kappa for me... great kits, and O Fenômeno himself scoring for fun (34 league goals)... and in the dugout, "Uncle" Bobby Robson, with some Portuguese guy you may have heard of since. They were the cup kings in 1996/97 and would have won La Liga but for Real Madrid finishing 2 points clear... and to think Barça's most crucial downfall was 3 games from the end by losing at relegation-threated Hércules!

These are the domestic kits used in La Liga and Copa del Rey, which had Kappa branding on the shoulders and show-printed Kappa and "Barça" text on the shirts. In European competition, these details were missing due to UEFA's rules on excessive branding, but I'll post these in a seperate post as I need to make the third kit.

The same strips had been worn in 1995/96, but had a few minor tweaks, particularly the names were now printed in white directly on the shirt, instead of on a white space. Meanwhile, Vítor Baía wore unique strips that had his name on the shoulders, though I'm not sure exactly what designs were used in 1996/97 by the other two goalkeepers - trying to nail down details was tricky as I wasn't sure if the designs I'd seen were 1995/96 or 1996/97. Any help will be appreciated!

SOUTHAMPTON KITS 1993/94
After two seasons in their second spell with Admiral, Southampton switched to Pony, whose "tick" trademark also appeared on the Saints' shirts... as well as an odd arrangement of the stripes. These were a pain to make - more so the collar on the home shirt so that I could keep to the 1024x1024 resolution. I think it looks OK anyway.

Goalkeepers had predominantly black shirts, with different coloured fronts, but when Manchester United played at The Dell in their black away kit (with blue clash socks), Tim Flowers wore the green shirt with a black back, which resulted in a pretty bad clash. Flowers wore his own Uhlsport-branded shorts but he soon went to Blackburn Rovers in a big money deal, and was replaced by Dave Beasant, who wore the outfield shorts and socks.

These kits did get retained for 1994/95, with some new goalkeeper kits and a third strip but I'll post that full set at a later date.

I have got the mother of all hangovers today 🤣🤣🤣 worth it though after seeing my team win 3 promotions in a row.
EFL Championship next season, bring it onnnnnnnnn!!!!!!!!!

BARCELONA KITS 1999/00
Barça kept their centenary shirt for the 1999/00 season, but introduced a new silver away shirt, which was also worn with the home shorts and socks sets. Goalkeepers also had new jerseys in the latest Nike template.

READING KITS 2006/07
This was the Royals' first season in the top flight where they had a two year stay. Even though their kits carried the Puma logo they were actually made by a licencee manufacturer (Genesis), who used the 05/06 template for some of their teams that season with some very subtle differences.

Also of note, I've replicated the large amount of white tape that Reading goalkeeper Marcus Hahnemann used to wear on his socks!
