Cursed T-Pose bug

Very few people seemed to be suffering from this cursed bug. But when it happens, it's pretty much over. There have been some potential solutions but I've tried all of them and none of them works.


Some said it was OS related issue. But I think it's more like hardware related. Apparently it only happens in Windows 7 and doesn't happen on Windows xp and 10. But I'm using Windows 10. So that can't be the case.


The best I could think of is it's Nvidia GPU specific issue? I played Fifa 09 on intel igpu and amd gpus on Windows xp and 7 and never faced this T-pose bug. Only on my 980 Ti [Nvidia GPU] I''m getting this bug.


I've also tried using DgVoodoo's Dx9 to Dx11 wrapper to see if it does something. But that didn't do either.



If anyone here is using modern AMD GPU, see if they are facing similar T-pose bug on their pc. More info, the better. Hopefully we will be able to find a fix. I'll keep this thread updated if I find more info.

well, 4 months has passed without any info, so it's a pretty unique case then

But i think, i may have pinpointed the source of the issue, it's the game engine itself, specifically, the FIFA 09 engine as later on i've found that FIFA Manager 09 to 14 actually refused to work and constantly crashed and they are, coincidentally, are using FIFA 09 engine, meaning that something in the game engine itself doesn't like cards with more than 2 gigs of VRAM.

To add some weirdness, FIFA 10 actually works perfectly, which might indicate that engine was tweaked there.

I can concur cu the 09 T-Pose bug, on Windows 8.1 and Geforce 1050Ti (4GB Vram). Tried reinstalling, changing the resolution, no effect

At last, I repaired this problem:

1. We must download 3 dll files from this link:

FiFA 09 - dll

MediaFire is a simple to use free service that lets you put all your photos, documents, music, and video in a single place so you can access them anywhere and share them everywhere.

2. Copy those files to FIFA 09 root folder

3. That's all - we can finally play normally.

Greatest news ever, someone from sevenforums by the nick of Kr1sU has found a fix for the dreaded t-pose bug, you need to follow the instructions of that post in a link below and this will fix the issue

and here's the proof (apologies in advance, that's not the game, that's a weird reaction of my Bandicam when it decided to take a shot in mirrored and upside down)

The game just gives black screen if I put these dlls in the fifa 09 folder. No luck here at all.

The game just gets stuck on blackscreen with the dlls placed.

yeah, guessing that patch only works on Win 7, because i tried on my Win 10 laptop where the game worked and...yeap, the game got stuck on black screens.

Is it required to have some version of Wine installed? One of the dlls in your zip file is named wine.dll or something.

Maybe I'm getting black screen cause I'm supposed to have something else installed which I don't know?
