So is it worth starting the career mode again, or can the "TBD teams" disappear in some future season?

No, once TBDs start to appear it's likely that everything is slowly gonna degrade everytime more. You could try, I've seen that some 4th seasons get fixed after a failed 3rd one.

Since everything happens randomly it's impossible to predict what will happen after season 3. the big improvement from previous installments of this patch is that the game usually does not crash after the end of the season as it was happening before

Dont blame me, it's the way argentinian tourneys are made and I have to deal with the limitations of the game.

I found out the reason Nacional B crashes after you try to load a saved game once passing the fantasy pre-season tournament. For some reason, the line calling for the "real schedule" for that tournament in the settings file in compdata gets erased after you quit the game

Fortunately. there is a possible solution:

1- Open the settings.txt file in compdata, scroll to the id of the Nacional B tournament (in my game is #1108. Where it says "comp_type,LEAGUE" change it to "CUP", then, make sure the line "schedule_year_real,0" is present in the next id (in my case would be #1109)

This will allow you to play the tournament with the interzonals both in career and tournament mode without crashing after you saved your game

I modified the settings file you mentioned, on the same line number but, i think we shouldn't have the same ID number because my game keeps crashing after load a save career

It should be the same number. I Imagine you downloaded the dlc. The competition id is 1108 and you should change where it says "comp_type" from LEAGUE to CUP (like that, with capital letters)

1108,comp_type,CUP

That's the magic line

Unless you edited the dlc, then the id is obviously different. You'd need either CM16 or data base Master to find the id number of the Nacional B in that case

You changed the id of the competition?? I'm amazed the game even opened, ha

- Back up your dlc
- Remove your dlc
- Download this dlc with the correct settings (i played it throughout with Ferro and Defensores de Belgrano and it works perfectly) https://www.mediafire.com/file/sclio8yxtqx9r7r/dlc.zip/file
- Move it to your game folder
- Empty the game's cache
- Start a new career
- Let me know

You can try changing the TRANSFER line in cmsettings from 0 to 1. Although I wouldnt recommend doing so, since the transfers AI in FIFA 16 is very bizarre, if you want to update the rosters or play with a recently acquired player with your team, edit it in dbmaster (or wait for the 2025 patch that's coming very soon )

Still waiting for AFA to determine how many slots from Primera B and Federal A are assigned to Copa Argentina 2026, the draw of the Copa Libertadores and Sudamericana group stage, the seeds of the 2025 Intercontinental cup and whether there will be another season of the Torneo Promocional Amateur and how many teams will play it.

The idea is to release it before the FIFA Club World Cup in june, (for which I have all the stadiums and fixtures already, including all the home stadiums of the 32 participants) but there is a lot of work to do and not so much time to my disposal.

Sorry, i miswrote jaja, did not change the id, i changed the settings to CUP as you said!

Also with the problem i had, i found out that somehow the settings file had been delete automatically, so i took advantage for the new dlc you passed, and from now on it's working just fine.
