Career mode only seems to work when calendar start date is 2017 :/

In my cmsettings.ini file, the calendar start year is 2017 but I tried to change it to 2018 but it causes career mode to crash when creating a brand new one. It only ever seems to work when the calendar start year is 2017.

I know I can just start at 2017 and sim forward to 2018 but I would rather just be able to start career mode in 2018, or even 2019. But I would like to know what's causing it to crash because I'm so confused...

But I'm not sure exactly what I'm supposed to do with the settings.txt file. Do you know how I would go about making the changes???

Edited: I'm just realising, will I need to install the HBZ Career Mode mod? Because I don't have that mod installed on my FIFA 14...

Yes, a solution would be installing hbz mod...
