who will break the transfer record this summer?

It wouldn't be surprise if the transfer record is broken again this summer. Who do you think will be the next player who breaks the record as most expensive player?

I vote Griezmann, hopefully to man U. Hazard to Real Madrid is quite possible too.

I don't think Greizman will break the transfer record because as far as I am aware he has a release clause of €90m which is lower than the pogba and bale transfers.

I also don't know if Madrid have the funds for another Bale/Ronaldo-esque raid for Hazard. I wouldn't mind him going if it was for huge money.

In my opinion the most likely record breaking transfer is Messi to Manchester City :brow:

I've heard Griezmann didn't like the idea of living in Manchester and all but ruled it out.

Nobody likes the idea of living in Manchester yet they keep signing players

Alexis to Atleti to replace him

If Atletico don't finish top 4 they are done. Griezmann and Simeone are also leaving. They can't sign world class players now with those 2.

Neymar and Hazard are not going anywhere.

I do, actually. Would love Messi to take a step down and take on a new challenge. He also hasn't won the most important trophy of all being the FA cup. Arsenal are good in the FA cup and Ozil could move to Barcelona in exchange. The world would be a better place.

Wrt to Griezman, he will move this summer and Utd will offer his release clause. I don't think it's his first choice club but his agent will talk him into it if there are no other offers. Clubs (man utd excluded) are getting a bit more savvy and not offering quite the crazy money of seasons past (preferring to overpay for multiple average players instead).

Time for Messi to go to the MLS. He should give up the idea of reaching CR7's level. He will never win the FA Cup or the Euros.

Messi is ineligible for the Euros...

That was meant to be a joke.

Lame excuse, he could have done a Diego Costa

It's too late now. He already played too many games for Argentina, already retired and already came back from retirement to play for Argentina again too.

Looks like Griezmann might be staying put. Hazard still odds-on to be the next galactico. Money's got to be on him.
