(Unofficial) 2010's Add-on for CP14 v4.2

Yes, that's what I'm talking about: if not incorporating this add-on into an official CP release, then at least coordinating regarding the team/player/ball IDs, where possible, so that this tremendous work does not conflict with future official CP updates.


@Jbou41 Finally have had the chance to test the add-on and it's excellent, literally what I was looking for and planning to do for a while. Splendid work!

Now, as a perfectionist of sorts, I did notice some things that can be improved:
- squads and transfers: Bale is not in Real Madrid 13-14, Adebayor is not in Real Madrid 10-11, etc (might be due to corresponding patches having earlier squad files; should be easy to fixed cross-checking with the late season squads)
- kits/fonts/jersey name positioning/collars etc: could be fixed with patch exports/personal graphic collections (if you still have the seasonal patches, can you export and reuse the actual fonts/numers/UCL kits?
Additionally, certain kits could use individual fine tuning, as they have overlapping jerseyname positioning, double logos or awkward layouts

- fan scarves: as far as I understand, if a team has no flag/scarf rx3 with correct hex value, the fans will use the error-color blue-and-green textures. Again if I remember correctly in CP14 these files were generated automatically, maybe something similar can be done here too to avoid blue-and-green scarves

- tournament dressing: a nice little feature would be having year specific UCL tournament dressings like this

- balls: would be nice to have additional balls for each UCL Final (I have the full collection and will share if needed) plus optionally domestic league balls (like Nike Ordem) for potential domestic games/friendlies and for football museum value

Oh wow so @Jbou41 being the fastest gunslinger this side of the Mississippi that he is, already releases an update
Originally I had thought that while he was working on the DB, I was slowly but surely working on the graphics, and eventually both would be released as the update (since additional kits or jersey name case needs to be edited with the DB too), but oh well.

Basically, being the detail maniac that I am, I have been improving every graphical aspect to make it more consistent with the Champions League matches of that season.
For example:

- Adboards
Assigned extended region specific adboards (e.g. UniCredit in Cyrillic for Russian teams, HypoVereinsbank for German ones, etc).

- Balls
Original addon had Finale balls. Of course it needs both group stage and Finale for the complete package; the ultimate goal would be having both domestic and UEFA balls for each season (@DeWoo might chip in here).

- Kits, jerseyfonts and kitnumbers
To follow the original CP concept, where UCL/UEL is the primary focus, I've been searching, editing and converting UEFA graphics for the teams where I can find it; the ultimate goal would be having UCL + domestic + Final (when applicable) kits for all teams.


- Tournament dressing
Every UCL season from 2005 to 2020 has been assigned an authentic dressing.

I have also been working on recreating every UCL Final's dressing for 2005-10, now movig to 2011-20:

- Stadiums
Added real stadiums to teams with generic ones. Easy solution: take the stadium with all IDs properly assigned from HBZ mod (e.g. Leicester Stadium, ID 335) and create a new stadium in CP 2010-20 DB with the ID 335; use the same files and share the stadium between the two mods.

- Boots
An attentive eye will see that most if not all players in these screenshots are wearing year appropriate boots. I am close to completing the Sputnik 2010-2020 addon.

Although I do admit that I stopped following the boots game around 2014, so I there's a lot of research happening now with my bootpack, trying to find put who wore what and when.
So if you are knowledeable about the boots between 2015 and 2020, or if you have the rx3s already, feel free to contribute.
Also would be nice to have someone who knows GK Gloves to provide some info on who wore what.

Same applies to all other areas too - we are a community here, and team effort always helps!
@valambrosio2 is doing awesome job with the extended mod too, and of course the more people working together the better.


UPD: of course, if you are a complete authenticity freak like me who has assigned 33 pairs of unique boots to CR7 already, you might also want to edit the fan banners (e.g. Chelsea, being the team I support since 2004, change Torres 9 El Nino for Diego Costa the Guv'nor, Big Pete, Drogba Legend, Super Frankie Lampard etc depending on which season we're talking about), add realistic warmup benchplayers and real managers (@Re_coded might chip in with the latter)

I've managed to merge the database of the latest classic patch and the 2010-2020 teams using classic patch selector, but I still have an issue with loc folder, if I use the one from this patch, new teams from gigis classic patch won't have a name, and if I use gigis loc foder, 2010-2020 teams won't have a name so I was wondering if anyone knows how to edit these files from loc folders to make this patch fully compatible with latest CP. In case you've done this I'd b thankful if you could share the edited loc folder.

While using Classic patch selector, and importing the output using DB master 15, I am always getting teams with only goalkeeper in the playing line up. Anyone getting this or is it a known problem? If so, what is the fix?

I will make a release for the coming all-in-one version with everything updated. Meanwhile, you can edit loc files (FIFA 14/Game/data/loc/xxx_xx.db and xxx_xx-meta.xml) with DB Master.
Once you have exported the table, you can edit it and add texts for ids you want (for teams, ids are something like "TeamName_Abbr_125243").
Then, when you import the table back to DB Master, don't forget to click on the button "HASH" that appears if you select a value in "hashid" column. Hope this will help you !

Let's enjoy that we have Fifa 14 File Loader, because fifa 15 and 16 do not have such an indispensable tool for tests, although I've seen something similar for fifa 16, but I haven't tested it yet!!!

yes, but not yet reimported on final version this db as already 10-15 (UEFA and Amsud, I included 6 top mexican clubs since they are part of Libertadores, for a total of 48 south american clubs). Euro 2020 has 34 teams, World Cups 02-06-10-14-18 have the new NQ ones, 2020-25 UEFA clubs has for now around 40 teams (lower countries clubs to finalize) and 2015-20 is ready to reimport for UEFA, South American to do.

@Skoczek I also had the MLS 2000's project, but I will let it aside for now, except if I can finalize in the planned time the rest (possible). Anyway MLS 2000's is rather easy to do: import all mls players from 11 until 22, more the 07 ones the players already on CP, then make the rosters following all MLS teams since 2000's most appearance by clubs and put some of the most representative kit sets (only Tampa Bay Mutiny and Metrostars don't have fifa kits for now)
