Stadium name patch

Instructions: In DB Master 11, open database, select "stadiumassignments table", click "Import Single Table", select downloaded file, SAVE!

This patch adds an empty table to the database called "stadiumassignments", by filling it, real stadium names appear instead of the default ones. Since the default db comes with this table empty it doesn't override any other modification you could've made. Also it supports more characters than the ingame stadium editor.

With a little colaboration we can have all the teams in the game with their real stadium name!

For now it will come with the top 5 leagues and its second division.
But it is easily expandable since its only a txt file.
So feel free to post your league list.
Using this format: stadiumcustomname teamid
The space is a TAB by the way. The teamid get it from the db, that is the only annoying part.

regularcat: I'm taking the stadium names from Wikipedia in the leagues native language for more exactitude.

Example:



Check the length of the name, that doesn't fit with the ingame editor. Also check the ' character, unavailable ingame.

I´m very grateful for your work mate, but until we can import the real stadiums that you describe in your patch, it´s not realistic at all to have only their names.

How will it work regarding the stadiums? Will we be able to import from 10 or not and how will we be able to make stadiums? I doubt importing will be possible because of all the graphical changes to the game. Great patch btw, will be very useful later on.

Same here. So, does this basically give each team its own proper stadium name - albeit without it being the actual stadium they use? As you said Outsider, the name is better than nothing.

Maybe this will help? It has all the stadium names from the Championship through to League Two (English leagues).

Edit: @OP - I can't download the damn thing - I'm having trouble visiting this site, I'm only here now by using a proxy - but it won't let me download from here for some reason. Could you upload it to filefront or some other similar mirror? I want to check this out.

Could you upload this somewhere else? I can't get into this site properly and this damn proxy won't let me download anything from here. Please not Rapidshare though, that's given me nothing but problems. Cheers.
