Real Madrid will try to avenge the painful last year's result (0-3). The beginning of the season is being very irregular for the 'merengues'. What version will they show up?

The concentration of the defense and the performance of the midfield defensive duo Diarra - Emerson will be crucial to avoid being ripped up by the fast Barcelona attackers.

Barcelona keep their last season dinamic and atractive play, but it seems it isn't such effective anymore.

Ronaldinho will be the main man in the attack, and will try to close some mouths that question his leading capacities in this first matches of the season, by repeating his fabulous last year's performance. Messi is another player to have in account.

Please, let´s go to see the things with a logical viewpoint.

All people is thinking that Barça is not anymore like the last year, or that Madrid is ok now??.

The only victories from Madrid were with...let´s call, 2nd division teams, like Steaua Bucarest, Dynamo, etc...with all my respects for this teams, but, they are in another league. And all people claim.."hey man, Madrid is here"???? Please, when Madrid plays against medium or strong teams always fail, and this happend during this 2 or 3 past years, is a matter of the club itself. Against Lyon, a strong team, Madrid lossed and the same against a medium-low team as Getafe. I see a lot of deficiencies on this team. Do you think that Raúl is comming again for to score a few goals after more than 1 year without score??. Madrid has a real problem, and now more with the absence of Ronaldo. 2 ridiculous vistories and all people think that all is arranged?? I dont think so.

In the other hand, Barça. Barça had the more strong weekend that you can remember, first against the super Sevilla, after that against Chelsea and now against Madrid, is really hard to prepare weeks like this, without count the draw with the great Werder Bremen. Ok, so, take a look, Barça draw with Werder (a powerful team), win against Sevilla (Uefa Cup Champion) and lost with Chelsea (Premier League champion) (in my opinion Barça and Chelsea are the best teams on this moment in Europe, so, this results are normal, you will see the same macth here in Barcelona and the score will be the 1-0 too, they are very equal). So, what´s the balance....Madrid winning and loosing with low-medium teams or Barça winning-draw and only 1 lost against Powerfull teams??. So the answer is logical.

I cannot imagine Madrid winning Sevilla, drawing with Werder, and loosing or winning Chelsea, almost at this season. Is easy to say, all is ok!! we score 5 goals in the last macth!! Raúl again!!.......yes, but with "easy" teams.

Furthermore Barça had taken the mesure to Madrid, you only must to see the last years results.

So, for me, the vistory is clear for Barça, i dont worry about Madrid, im more worry about that crowd can be the 12 player, etc, but not by the team. So a 0-3 or 1-3 should be the final score, Ronaldinho, Messi and Deco for Barça. May be Sergio Ramos scoring the Madrid goal???? ahem....

Anyway, and besides of the clear rivalry things, i hope a very good macth on the Bernabeu for both teams, nice goals, and the most important thing, football!!!
