The new management took over SG earlier this year, so we don’t have any data or records regarding recent leaks.
To be honest, the previous management didn’t take much care of the forum, so it’s possible that security breaches may have occurred in the past.
Securing the platform was one of our top priorities when ownership changed, so you can rest assured that everything is now as safe as it can be.
Unfortunately, data breaches can happen to any platform, big or small. All we can do is keep improving our security over time.
Just recently for example over 16 billion credentials have been leaked online from platforms such as Google, Apple or GitHub. So nobody is really safe.
As an extra precaution, it’s a good idea to reset your passwords for important accounts every 3 to 6 months.
