My PES vs FIFA

PES:

- turf is way more realistic, FIFA turf looks very fake. Weather and day/night effects also look much better in PES
- more difficult then FIFA (which is a positive because playing against FIFA PC on legendary is boring after 50+ games)
- Gameplay is much smoother, crossing and long balls are much nicer
- Quick free kick feature is great

FIFA:

- has better kits, stadiums, teams, competitions
- goal keeper is quicker at returning the ball

Overall it's hard to pick between the 2, both games have their advantages, PES overall gameplay is better IMO.

I can go on and on but Ill summarise it by saying PES lost its crown for sure. Of course, it's just my opinion. Renski, I wish I liked PES but truth is, I think it's horrid.

i have always prefered fifa and always will i think pes is to much like an arcade game where as fifa actually gives you the feeling its a proper football game plus fifa has my team norwich city on it.

It's a really difficult choise. Overall, PES feels like football because of the realistic tactics, more difficult AI. FIFA is arcady, but the physics are a lot better. Because of the animations (except robotic turns), it looks more like football than PES. FIFA also has a much better atmosphere (crowd reactions, commentary, nets that look like real football nets if they're patched). FIFA also wins on licenses, the only advantage for PES is the CL and EL license, which is a big plus (and yeah, I know about PESEdit patches and so on). PES looks better, FIFA has graphic patches that improve the game a lot. PES has bad referees. FIFA has great goalkeepers.

All in all, no game is really good, both have good parts and bad parts, and it's really difficult to pick one as best, if you're not a fanboy of one franchise.

pes just looks good, the tactics & ai arent better than fifa, plus fifa's ai in editable as opposed to pes which isnt.
i know this because i make gameplay mods for 10, if you have fifa, but play pes cause the gameplay is better, try my v.6 ai.

yea fifa has more licenses than pes & yea you can add some leagues to pes, but you can only add 2 or 3 & then have to replace others, as in fifa you cant add as many as 60 leagues.

fifa is more of a real football sim, pes is the arcade like game.

fifa's cameras make the game much more playable, fifa is 100x easier to mod.
i know i make a s**tload of mods for 10.

& i could go on & on too.

i own both games so my opinion is justifiable, hands down fifa is the better game, eventhough both games suck.

its very easy to mod PES what are you talking about. if you cant install kitserver then you shouldnt own a PC. Fifa is definitley the more "arcade" game outta the 2, tricks galore what happened to player individuality? i can roulette with iniesta like im messi cmon. Now there is something noone brought up that is FIFA is hands down better online....IM a pes fan but konami seems to drop the ball on this everytime with me.

UNBELIEVABLE noone plays football like that even some of those lobs the player rabona those from so far away hahahaha cmon i mean it is possible to do but howmany times have you seen it on a real pitch in a pro game?. the proof is in the pudding.now if you like that type of gameplay fine but dont call that simulation you mock the word when you do.

Who cares if FIFA is more arcade than PES ?
FIFA on consoles is at least 3 times better than PES, because the animations are much more fluid (simulator without good animations ? No, no man), the graphics are on same level as PES overally (what the hell, Serie A nets on old trafford ... what simulator si this ?), the atmosphere is MUCH MUCH BETTER (even FIFA 04 commentary is better than PES, the chants aswell), it has 5x more licenses even with PES patches + the online is better.
What is good at PES ? YOU CAN'T DO NOTHING IN IT, ONLY PASS, PASS,PASS, SPRINT AND SHOOT, fake tricks, fake manual passing etc.
When you put PES in split screen with FIFA PS3/Xbox360 you have the impression PES is a PS2 game, and it really is, the animation system is the same old ******* ****.
Thank god Konami changed it, at last.

pes 09 and 10 better than fifa but in 2011 fifa is much better than pes...

On my opinion PES is better than fifa due to a better gameplay, but the referee really sucks for PES, and replays too. This should be customizable
