I typically only buy the new Fifa every other year since I only play manager mode and enjoy getting deep into making my own mods and things. I love Fifa15 and I have made all the roster and kit updates for this season, is there any other glaring reason I should want to buy 16? Or is it nor really worth it since I don't play online or FUT

I paid $60.00 USD for the retail as trying to purchase from other countries via proxy would not work.
I didn't want to pay what I paid but it's purchased and there is nothing I can do now.
Not saying it isn't worth it overall but I don't feel any game that has a few tweaks and
a squad update is ever worth $60.00 USD.

Career mode has been improved a lot, you can train selected players and max their habilities easily, pre season tournaments with great prizes, dont be surprised if you see alaba bought by juve lol

If you sit in a good pocket of space between the midfield and their back line, the AI will usually get you a good pass without requesting one. It picks up on and makes runs much better.
In past games your AI would take moronic shots and dribble in circles. Inevitably they would turn their back as you were requesting a pass and it would fire out of bounds.
I'm sure we'll all spot the issues more and more as we get used to the new version. But I've been very happy so far.
