El día de hoy culmina el mes de julio y las prometida información de FIFA 06 todavía no llega de manera oficial. ¿Qué es lo que se ha visto hasta ahora de este juego? ¿Por qué la demora? Son muchas las interrogantes. Les traemos un resumen de lo que ha sido publicado hasta ahora...




El mes de julió culmina sin ninguna información oficial de FIFA 2006, o más bien dicho, FIFA 06, ya que así se ha cambiado la denominación de todos los juegos de EA Sports. Se hicieron algunas promesas en los foros oficiales de UK o en la web EASports.com de que este mes tendríamos por fin muchos datos sobre el próximo juego de la serie FIFA, pero hasta ahora poco o nada ha sido lo que oficialmente EA ha publicado.

Antes que nada, hay que tener dos cosas bien claras. FIFA 06 tendrá dos versiones totalmente distintas:

- Una, la versión de las consolas de la nueva generación (XBOX 360, PlayStation 3, Revolution). Aquí gozaremos de gráficos de última generación, detalles al máximo nivel, y muchas cosas más.
- Otra, la versión de consolas actuales (PC, XBOX, PlayStation 2, Gamecube). No se sabe mucho de este título pero al parecer las mejoras serán solo en jugabilidad ya que el motor gráfico será casi el mismo.

Toda la movida de FIFA 06 se inició en el mes de mayo, cuando unos días antes del evento E3 2005 (Electronic Entertainment Expo), tuvimos la primicia de publicar capturas de lo que sería el primer video del FIFA 06 para la consola XBOX 360, el cual fue presentado en la conferencia de prensa de Microsoft, junto a otros títulos de EA Sports. Luego vino el evento en sí, y fue mostrado más material de la versión para XBOX 360, pero solo renders (no mucho material dentro del juego), y se pudo jugar a una tanda de penaltis.

Con el paso de los meses, se dio un evento el 9 de junio en San Francisco, en el que ahora sí fue mostrado FIFA 06, pero pues solo a un pequeño grupo de consultores y personajes importantes dentro de las revistas de videojuegos más prestigiosas del mundo. No sabemos mucho de aquel evento.

Hace poco llegó el "Hot Summer Night 2005", evento que realizó EA, y en el cual mostró todos sus futuros títulos. Aquí FIFA 06 tuvo una sala especialmente ambientada, pero el acceso fue restringido y no se ha publicado nada hasta ahora, salvo una foto que mostramos hace unas semanas.

Durante las dos últimas semanas, se han estado revelando pantallazos no oficiales de FIFA 06, tanto para la versión de XBOX como la de PC. Las revistas europeas PCGames o Eurogamer han publicado material no permitido por EA Sports, el cual estuvo al aire por unos días, pero luego fue removido de aquellas webs, incluso de la nuestra. Sin embargo, todos vieron ese material y ya ha circulado por casi todos los foros relativos al FIFA.

Se dice que todo lo que hemos visto de la versión de XBOX como la de PC no muestra el verdadero estado del juego en estos momentos, y al parecer saldrán en estos días nuevos pantallazos, y la lista completa de características de FIFA 06. De lo que fue publicado en la revista PCGames, se dice que este año se han enfocado mucho más en la jugabilidad, ya sea en tácticas, regates, y la posibilidad de manejar a nuestros otros compañeros cuando no tienen el balón (suena similar al Off The Ball), pero ya lo veremos pronto en acción.

Finalmente, en el XBOX Summit 2005, realizado en Tokyo, se mostró casi lo mismo que vimos en el E3 sobre FIFA 06 versión XBOX360, sin embargo, un dato curioso es que denominaron al juego como "FIFA 06: Road To The World Cup 2006". ¿Será que tendremos posibildad de clasificar al Mundial Alemania 2006? Cabe señalar que esto es solo para la versión de XBOX360, ya que sobre la versión de PC no sabemos mucho, y como dijimos, no van a ser nada iguales.

De los jugadores de la portada, se rumorea que serán Ronaldinho, Wayne Rooney y Lukas Podolski. Falta todavía el pronunciamiento de EA Sports para corroborar esta información.

Julio está a unas horas de acabar (aquí en Lima, Perú), y la información de FIFA 06 llegará... ¿cuándo? Sugerimos revisar la página web la próxima semana para encontrar sorpresas, ya que EA lanzará lo respectivo a FIFA 06 en cualquier instante.

So in all, they don't know anymore than we do, there isn't any solid concrete information about FIFA 06 yet.

Please don't get confused, I posted that on Mundo FIFA and that's nothing new, it's only an article of what have been happening about FIFA 06 since May (E3), to make sure everyone gets updated
