So.. ive been looking all day to find a good mp3 player and i've finaly come to decide i wanna buy this little baby. only problem is that i have no experience whatsoever from mp3 players, so mostly my decision is based on reviews and a few tips from a couple of friends. So i was wondering if anyone here knows a few things that could help me. Basicaly i need a big enough player (20gigs or more) and also looking to be able to plug it into any stand alone stereo with RCA or mini jacks (if possible) So any other suggestions? Also comments from those who already have a zen touch would be nice. :D

I have a Zen Touch 20gb. really good. sounds nice and can hold a shít load of songs. not too hard to get the songs onto the player either. shouldn't be a problem hooking it up to things. i've never had a better mp3 player and i carry it everywhere wherever i go.

got my Sony MW-HD5 today... tis awesome.

it also has the best sound quality out of the range according to many tests. You can pick one up for around £150.

the metal finish on it makes it feel real good quality and its around the same size as the zen MICRO

I'm also searching for a MP3 player with much capacity (at least 20gb). I really want the 60gb iPod, so I think I'll just save my money for that.

on many tests its been proven that the sound quality on the ipods is the worst in the range.

do you seriously need 60gb!? :|
there is a 30gb version of the Sony Hd5 called the Hd5h

It's just so simple having all of your music in one place, without having to change CDs etc., so having as much space as possible would be useful. I could easily do with 30gb, though. I'll check out the Sony players, maybe I'll get one of those instead.

i know exactly what you mean by having all music in one place, thats the reason i've got one. But 60gb is ridiculous.

Not sure exactly how many GBs of music I have, but it's about 3000-4000 songs, and I have them on another computer, so I can't check it right now, but I guess that would be take about 15-20 GB.

And the thing is that the price difference isn't really that big for the 20GB and the 60GB (maybe £60), and in the long run it'll probably be worth it (at least for me).

They are better than their computers at least :p
Anyway, i quit my mp3 player search. Ill wait till next year to get one with huge hd space and video support. For now, a new phone works just as good for me. (H)

My new phone: Nokia N70 :D
