Hey V.K. great job! I admire your dedication to this it. Seeing what you were capable to do I am starting to getting hooked on editing Classic Patch as well It would be great if you would share your edits, especially stadium dressings since I am having really difficult time editing those. Are you editing directly stadium textures in containers or are you assigning dressing via RM mod?

I saw that you uploaded Donbass Arena but I am unable to download anything from zippyshare for some reason. Also it would be wonderful if you use mediafire instead - the files there just seem to live forever while on zippyshare they just expire after 30 days.

Also can you tell me if this is how it suppose to look? I set the weather to clear day and the whole pitch is covered in dark shadow. Is it just the way the stadium is converted or it is some bug I can fix?

I have no idea which textures should I edit to replace those grey/white parts with tournament dressing. For now I am focusing on Euro 2012 and started to assigning player boots via RM. Shoes textures from 2012 can be easily found online on even in other FIFAs, but man, I am even afraid to ask where you got boots from years below 2011...

man @V.K help me, just open the rx3 files with rx3 master or jenkeys editor and look for the file of the walls, edit it with euro or world cup logos and import it again , regen and done

Hi! Thanks for the appreciation. I'm trying to show examples and share with whoever is interested in improving the patch. Stadium dressings can be really tricky without actual stadium editing, you need to find exact stadium wall textures and replace it with tournament graphics, which doesn't always work.

I'm not sure about mediafire because it requires an account to upload but I might consider it as an option alongside google drive and others.

From what I understand, Eueo 2012 stadiums were never converted bug-free from Euro 2012 DLC, and it looks like the original stadiums never had day options either, hence the weird shadows and elements. It would be really nice if any stadium maker like @Gonzaga would give them some rework or convert them from Fifa 12 files.

To be honest I haven't found those textures in stadium container files either, they might also be some 32x32 part in on of the textures, just stretched out to bigger sizes.

I assigned some HD Nike Clash pack, Ummro Geometra and Puma powercat boots for Euro 2012 as you might have seen.
It would be really great if editors would take up single tournaments for assignment and compile specificshoe bootpacks.
World Cup 2010 boots might be found in Fifa 11 and 12, and for older boots it's nice when you can find Fifa 09-10 textures like I did with Pavlyuchenko 2008 adidas, because the textures are still compatible. Unfortunately it's near impossible to find textures for 2008, 2006 and older.

Regarding older boots I have EURO 2008 and World Cup 2010 from EA on PS3 bluray, but unfortunately no bluray player in my PC.

Ok i spent some time trying to edit dressing on Kiev stadium 253 and I found that some stadiums, mainly those converted from earlier FIFAs don't use texture containers at all and have textures embedded directly in rx3 model. For example the files stadium_253_1_textures.rx3 and stadium_253_3_textures.rx3 are completely useless and can be deleted altogether and FIFA runs fine.

But textures embedded directly in 3D model container file (stadium_253.rx3) are problematic because the only way to edit those textures is via File Master. And by editing I mean replacing. There is unfortunately no way to resize textures, and this is crucial since the textures that supposed to be tournament graphics are distorted 512x512px images. This means that all details like text, or tournament logos will be totally damaged ingame.

Are there any known way to resize textures in 3D model container? This is what I tried so far and fail:

Blender and FIFA14 Importer/Exporer - failed due to "illegal stadium file".
FIFA 14 File Explorer - this reads file fine and allows to resize texture but after saving FIFA crashes. I tried File Explorer 13 and File Explorer 14 1.0.1 beta. There is also version 3.0 but the links are dead, although I don't think it will be any different.

Any ideas?

That's an interesting find, that's why I could locate any wall textures in Kiev stadium with any amount of testing.
The only converted Euro 2012 stadium I tried and was succesfull to edit was Warsaw stadium:

But even then I couldn't add any text or variable graphics, because the texture I had to edit was like 256*64 and resized and duplicated all over the stadium.

Some other stadiums are much easier to edit, for example St Jakob Park has a great HD texture, just replace it with proper Euro 2008 designs and it's an awesome Euro 2008 stadium:

As far as I understand, Euro 2012 stadiums were converted for Polish and Ukrainian teams' use and all Euro 2012 dressing and textures were removed on purpose.
And not just replaced by grey textures, but deleted all together. I have the original FIFA12 Euro 2012 DLC stadium files and they have lots of separete 512x64 and other textures with Euro 2012 dressing:

Oh man, this is bugging me so much right now. I made something pretty stupid - I imported Kyiv stadium straight from FIFA12 just to find out that it works! And it is so beautiful it hurts, look: (yes, this is FIFA14!)

However there is one, but pretty game breaking bug that makes this stadium unplayable - the goalposts render black-hole-shadow in form of a solid black rectangle

I have no idea if the fix is simple or complicated. For me it is impossible since I am unable to edit 3D model at all. I can't open it in blender even. So close yet so far. I didn't test other 7 cities (actually I have only Warsaw and Kiev - only these 2 are available on moddingway) but I am guessing there are the same. I even tried decreasing rendering quality to "disable shadows" but with no luck - the black rectangles are always there.

Also I compared each of 117 textures in original FIFA12 container and in converted one from Classic Patch, and whoever made the conversion changed almost every texture but in the most horrible way - increasing brightness and contrast of every color that was supposed to be gray making whole stadium lifeless and wash out.
