Here's my little experiment - FIFA16 rosters in FIFA Manager 13. It can be also used with FIFA Manager 14, but only in case if you use pirated FM version (reason: in pirated FM14 game starts in 2012 too).
The idea is very simple: it's FIFA16 teams and players in FIFA Manager 13.
Some additional information:
*Since I don't want to include any third-party modifications, I have decided to solve the problem with player age/contract length by decreasing most of all dates by 3 years. I know it's very dirty, but let's say, it works.
* Player rating formulas are different in FM and FIFA. so the way how FM calculates it was edited. This means, not only player stats but also overall rating will be the same as in FIFA (there's just round-up incorrection).
* Player talent calculation is based on FIFA's player potential and overall ratings from old FIFA series games.
* Minifaces are also available, thanks to futhead and their archive.
* I also thought about converting FIFA kits to FM, but texture mapping is very different there, so it's kinda impossible to do this with good quality.
Also, you may be interested in some another my project - at this stage it's a transfermarkt reader. In future I'd like to gather all info about club, players and managers, and then generate fifam database based on this information.

Any chance of updating the player faces in 3d gameplay? I am still playing fifa manager 14 as i like fifa manager better than football manager.
I had been asking everybody about how to update the players faces in 3d to that of realistic fifa 11 or something, but no one seem to be interested in this fifa manager.

I play fifa manager for the 3d game engine, if there is a way to change the players faces in-game to that of some realistic models from fifa 11 or 10 or community modded faces, fifa manager would be a complete package..
I thought about converting faces from new-gen FIFAs to FIFA Manager (which uses FIFA10 graphics engine) before.
From what I found, there are no proper tools for importing custom models into this game.
I have started my own researching about models format (EAGLModel, EAGLMesh data structures iirc) and had some progress with this (even when formats are really complex). Sadly I have no much time to continue this. And I didn't find anyone who could be interested in that researching, too.. So if there are any people with researching or reversing skills reading this thread, let me know
Hi i have a problem:after installing the update,i can't see any of the players pictures on the editor and the game even if all the .pgn names matches exacly with the pictures on the graphic folder...can somebody help me out?thanks
Wanted to ask, is it not possible to change the start date of the career mode rather than changing the dob's? Also how exactly did you change the dates? Did you do them manually with the fmdb editor or did you run a script on the db?
It's possible, but this will bring some problems in the game - for example, national teams won't play their matches during 2 years.
And also I heard there may be critical crashes after playing few seasons.
I'm generating FM database directly from FIFA files (I'm using XBOX database and squads updates for it), I don't use FM Editor.
Dates are changed during the process of converting (FIFA > FM).
Generally, no cardinal changes there. Face and hair settings, attributes, everything is converting fine.
Maybe will change the formula for calculating player's talent, because there are too many players with 5 and 4,5 talent stars.
