zooseb patch? i cant apply it

how did u create your iso file?
i just created one using Blindread and applied the zoo patch using ppf-o-matic - got the first error message as per following extract from ppf-o-matic readme but not the message you got. Suggest you create the iso again and then try once more.
Load the PPF-file and the BIN-file. After that just press
the button "APPLY" and thats it!
PPF2.0 Patches are supporting Image and Filesize checking
that means that the binfile will be verified before patching.
If the binfile isn't the right one two WARNING messages
can or will pop up, i will describe them in detail:
1st. Warning:
"The filesize of the binfile does not match with the filesize of
the binfile this PPF-Patch was made of! CONTINUE?"
What is wrong: It seems that you dont have the right binfile.
It is very likely that the binfile will be corrupted (and the game
wont work after burning). If this warning will show up you
have a 50:50 chance that it will work afterwards.. Different
CDRWin versions may add some more bytes to the binfile so
this warning is not to be taken toooo seriously!
2nd. Warning:
"The binfile does not seem to be the same one this PPF-Patch was made of!
CONTINUE? (Suggestion: NO!)"
If you see this warning you have a serious problem! the binfile that
you want to patch was NOT identified to be the right binfile for
the PPF-Patch you are using! - It's very very likely that you will
burn a nice coaster if you continue! Get the right version of the
game you are trying to patch. Sometimes a RENTAL/STORE/BETA version
can cause this problem! If you ask me.. i would NOT continue to
patch this binfile!!!

i believe it is bcuz my version of ISS PE2 is NTSC,
instead of PAL...
anyway mine was created using CDRWIN, but i guess it dun matters...
oh well, i cant use PatchD1 either...
i tried applying both patches and the formations were distorted and so were the players' position, so i just deleted them...
anyway, thanx 4 ur for effort.

there are various utilities which convert ntsc to pal and vice-versa
i did a search using google with the search phrase 'psx convert ntsc to pal'
the result set gave a number of utilities
i'm guessing but if you convert your ntsc image to pal, apply the patch and convert back to ntsc, it might work - worth trying if you have some spare time
anybody else got any thoughts on this?

I had the same error message when I tried to apply EPL patch using PPF-O-Matic. I then tried with ppf-execute and it worked (well, kind of..... I had to update 2 team squads and the Newcastle home kit didn't patch, but , you can't have everything,eh?!).

Look for downloads and download 'BWLIGHT.EXE' (it's a trial version). I used this to copy my ISS PE2 to my harddrive, coz CDRWIN wouldn't work with my CD drive.
Go to http://www.gamefreax.de/toolz.html and scroll down to 'ppf-execute'. Download and unzip this.
Once unzipped, use the .exe file to apply the patch (just follow the instructions), to the copy of ISS on your HDD.
Like I say, the EPL v2.1 patch worked apart from West Ham, Bolton and part of Man U team squads (which I updated with the in-game editor) and the Newcastle home strip hasn't applied (which I've yet to change).
So far, all the teams I've played with in zooseb's patch are OK.

I use CDRwin for the images.
Maybe the image for which the patch was created is made with another version of the program you use.

thanks Jonah-i did it but not everything is perfect-all the players name remain unchanged except for the jersey.i burn the cd using nero - about 657 mb.then i used isobuster to convert to iso,am i doing the right thing?cose when i used isobuster on the cd rom-i ve got some bad sectors and only manage to save 450 mb data(iso).

Sorry akaidai, I only know what I did in the above post and it worked fine for me. Did you try Blindwrite and ppf-exec?

happy new year everybody!hoping that konami will release a psone version of PES soon and hopefully we all could be able to play using emulator like epxe!i have the same result using blindwrite and ppf,exe.thanx jonah.at the moment i'm enjoying playing WE2000 u23 serie A-with other teams like man u,arsenal,b munich,ajax.river plate,real madrid etc!i bought it in town for RM5.00 malaysian!
