Winterthur.

It was insane, they didn't even get shots off. I had defenders as makeshift strikers.

Winterthur (Y)(Y) Very nice team to play with (well, on Cm03/04 it was) Plus the Swiss 2nd division has a very interesting set-up (I dont know if Winterthur got promoted after 03/04)

That's extremely impressive stuff with the F.A Cups Rob. As for the '10 years on' stuff, well done, but I do think that after that amount of time most teams can be turned into giants. Clubs finances always seem to have gotten to the point where pretty much anyone can be bought by that point, regardless of the club. Not having a go or anything, but that's how I've found it.

Oh, and any great bargains that we should know about in the F.A Cup winning sides then? I'm assuming that Aimar and Tevez didn't want to come to Woking at that point. ;) I could use one or two 'cheapies' for my Plymouth side.
Finished Runner Up in the CL fourtime before I won that (lost 1-0 every time)

I guess losing 1-0 in the Champions League must be getting to be a bit of a sore point by now given that yer a Chelsea fan. :boohoo: :hump: ;)

They have a good striker but you have to ride his ass if you want goals.

But for me, he broke his leg :(

There is no lead the mighty Scun-thorpe (damn profanity filter) cannot throw away, I was 3-0 up against Rushden with them down to 10 men and 80 minutes played, and within 12 minutes (including extra time), they had slotted in 2 penalties, a 25-yard free kick and a corner.

I made some damn good signings if I say so myself: 2 free agents worth 30k each and Ben Andrews from Burgess Hill who increased his value from 4k to 20k within a few months. But no, they don't help either. No tactic works, I am forced to cheat and replay a match from time to time because I NEVER win the first time round and I lack the patience to be relegated and have to spend years trying to build up a squad capable of winning anything.

Incidently, if anyone has any advice as to how I can win a match with S****horpe without replaying said match about 40 times until by sheer luck I score more goals than they do, please tell me.

A couple of questions...

1. When you say no tactic works, do you mean your own or have you also tried some downloaded ones? If not, then maybe your tactics just suck. No offence.

2. When you are throwing away leads, is is happening later on in the game, i.e, the last 15 mins? If that is the case then maybe your players are all shagged out by then and slowing down your teams tempo in the tactics section should be useful.

3. If you are not already doing so try to only play players that are 90% condition or above from the start of the match.

If you are sure that your players are good enough (i.e, the new signings etc.) and are still convinced that it's deffo not the tactics you've been using (if you have also tried downloaded tactics) then maybe hiring some new coaches might help things.
