After more then a month playing we6 it never felt so good. The game is very different than PES IMO...and for the better. It took me a while to adapt, specially to defend cause u now have to be much more carefull. I am now playing 4-2-2 and my style is passing a lot(55-65% possesion) trying to get space for my players, changing side a lot(love to do that); basically i try to play good attractive football.
So now that i feel confortable with the game all my matches give me real pleasure, and even if i'm loosing i some how manage to take control and most of the times win. And it's what happened
today: i was playing a Konami Cup(Round Robin) with Man Utd(as always) and it was the 15th game.I had 27 pts like Leverkussen and Depor but my goal average was holding me in the first place. My last game was against Bayern Munich and i kind of nervous cause i knew i had to win it and it's never easy against those guys.

So the game start normally with me passing the ball trying to take command. But it wasn't going so well cause my players was kind slow and Bayern was groing, taking over the midfield. The thnigs couldn't be worse, when it the 16th min, Elber pulls off this great pass to Santa Cruz leaving him in front of Barthez...
goal: delicat lob that even an outstretching Brown couldn't stop. The rest of the first half was mainly played in the midfield with Solskjaer getting on my nerves cause he couldn't hold a damn pass.
So i sub him for Yorke and the second half started better; Yorke was speeding up things up front and i was in command now. My midfield was playing very well know . In the 70min my efforts paid off: quick passing between Beckham, Yorke and Nistelrooy who had no trouble with beating Kahn!
Fabulous!But i still needed another one to keep me on top. So i kept passing the ball and in the 74min Becks found some
space in the right, crossed to Yorke who makes a great header...but even greater save by Kahn!Damn.
I was playing better and better, getting more chances and in the 79min a pass from Nistelrooy finds an unmarked Yorke who didn't have the calm enough to beat an outrushing Kahn...now i'm getting nervous. Min 83, counter attack:
Scholes->Nistelrooy->Beckham; he's unmarked he enters the box, decides wich way to shoot(like 2 secs, that looked like an eternity)...fires a powerfull shot to the keppers left, the ball smashes the bar...
and goes in! Gooooaaaal!Needless to say i was running all over the place like a mad man while Kabira was shouting(also like a mad man).
It felt so great!Like when your team(in real life) gets an important victory. This game is really good!

So, what are your greatest we, pes, iss moments?

Actually, it reminds of a great come back I once had when playing a Konami Cup with club sides, level 5. I was Deportivo La Coruna playing against AC Milan and was having one of those very bad games where your players play like sh*t and the ref books you for every tackle but never gives free-kicks against the CPU.

I was losing 2-0 and was down to 8 men (3 red cards - well, i got pissed off with the ref so starting hacking ), about 10 minutes to go. I make a late substitution, bringing on a fresh attacker and suddenly, out of nowhere, he's clean through and scores. The Milan players seemed to turn to jelly and I ended up scoring 2 more and could have had more.

I do like it when the CPU team capitulates like that.

I have one AWESOME moment in playing WE6 I'll NEVER forget. I was playing in the master cup final versus Real Madrid. It was pretty much a dead lock 'til the 69th minute when the goal deluge began. Guti put one in for Real. I equalized two minutes later in the 71st minute. Zizou put them up in the 78th with a SWEET volley. My big chance came in the 89th when I unleashed a wicked shot from the right wing with Henry. The ball bounced off the far post, sending the 'keeper to the ground in a vain attept to stop the blast. Off the post it came, and was headed straight for a defender who was about to clear the ball, with Mehmet Scholl right behind him. All I could do was keep pressing the shoot button, hoping that Scholl could sneak a foot past the defender and put a shot on the wide open goal ( the keeper was still getting up)...AND HE DID!! Right into the open goal it went and I finally got my equalizer!! I damn near had a heart attack. I scored the golden goal in the 7th minute of over time and that was that!! I was so ecstatic that I took a pic of the goal summary screen with my digital camera, but I can't get the pic to attach to this post because it is too many bytes. Any suggestions??

I played konami cup 2 legged matches level 4.

Played with Paraguay with defensive counterattacking style, verey entertaining.

Made my way untill the final with only conceding 3 goals.

Meet Argentina and lose at home with 5-0!, well i wast prepared to meet winger stle play
The second leg ended 1-0 to me.

Another one...


Played wiht Brazil in the copa america semi final again against Argentina.

I had a verey easy time against Uruguay and i guesi though i would have a similiar run againt Argentina. Stupidly enough

Played like **** and righfully was down 0-2 in half time, played just as crap in second half and the got 3-0 ,just before the end of the match i regained some hope by scoring 1-3.

Second leg away match this time, i thought i would make a effort at least but didnt expect much.

Did a fine first half, and scored with Romario.

Hoped to get a early 2-0 in the second half, however that goal waited untill about...hmmm 70 min i think.

After that it was just defending, i couldnt get over to their half cuse of their high pressing.

( I dont think konami implented the cpu thinking the result over the two matches. I mean the AI is acting like its under 0-2, and not leading 3-2 )

Anyway ofcourse i get frustrated as hell, Argentina was mad attacking and having the ball when it was me that needed to score 8(

Anyway didnt create a crap untill the 90 minute. Got a counter attack on te left side with Ronalod free with the keeper.
Shoot past him...hitting the post Romario grabbing the ball from a tight angle he puts it in

Its ends 3-2 ,verey exiting...

Both legged matches with away goal rule can be much fun, but Konami really should fix the AI bug i wrote about earlier.

My best moment is when I played Rep. of Ireland in the International Cup. I use the same group as in the WC.

1st match--> Losing 0-2 v Germany. I couldn't believe it. Kahn was a superb GK during the 2nd half. Germany leaded in 1st half 1-0. I changed the tactic from counter attacking into zone pressing with right & left wing attack. I managed almost 60% in possession in the field + attacked from any right/left wings.

2nd match-->Win 2-1 v Cameroon. After 1-0 lead in the 1st half, CPU's Cameroon went crazy in the 2nd half, I couldn't get out from their massive attacks. In 84th minute, they scored, 1-1. Desperate to win to qualify 2nd round, again, I changed the tactic into CB Overlaps + Zone pressing. Thank's God, there was a Cameroon player made a foul in the penalty box in injury time.
2-1 to Ireland.

3rd match-->Draw 1-1 with Saudi Arabia. Saudi Arabia, losses from 2 first matches made me even difficult to win this game. At least, we share 1 point finally.

Rep. of Ireland Qualifies to 2nd round ! (2nd place with 4 points).
Cameroon (3pts with a win) lost to Germany (9 pts). *Wheww*

I normally play with 2 DHs in front of my defence. These guys are the engine room. They win so many balls in midfield and supply it to Rivaldo who channels it to the pacy wingers.
Kluivert is a fantastic striker. He's been top scorer and top assists for the last 2 seasons.

One of my best moments was playing Roma in the ML Cup semis. Roma looked in great form, Totti and Batistuta were running riot and I was somehow managing. Rivaldo and Babangida combined down the left wing, with Babangida being released at full pace. Rivaldo followed into the box, and when Babangida reached the byline pulled back a sublime cross. Rivaldo met it on the volley from the 18 yard line and it flew past the keeper. After that I just played counter-attack and got one more through a Kluivert breakaway.

This game is the Mother of all Football games !!!!!

There are just so many great moments down the years playing these games that it's so hard to pick even just 2 or 3.

Most recently (week before last) was one that will stick in my memory for a while; me and my mate Moiz overcame a 3-1 defecit with Wales against Brazil (Jas & Alex) with only 15 'virtual' minutes left in the match (so like 3 or 4 minutes of real time). Was really incredible for us because the last 10-15 minutes usually find us hanging on as Jas & Alex often bring on Denilson, Ze Roberto or Edilson to run our already tiring team into the ground (this also happens in extra time). After Brazil pulled 3-1 ahead we moved Giggs out of 'the hole' (he had been Dunga's bitch all game long) and upfront alongside Nathan Blake (Hartson was taken off as he was knackered) and then we stuck 5 in the midfield with Robinson and Bellamy the OHs.

Unbelieveable stuff, first goal was a brilliant turn, shimmy and then shot by Giggs (Moiz) which cannoned in off the far post. Next, maybe 40 seconds later, Barnard gets released down the wing by Bellamy (after Roberto Carlos (BASTARD!) went wandering too far upfront) and bombs in a cross which Blake (me this time) thunders in with a header. And then in the dying seconds, with Jas & Alex absolutely panicing (their attack/defense bias was all the way to the right, and blue! lol) Giggs wins a corner, takes it himself and Melville (central defender, controlled by Moiz again) powers home the header into middle of the net (Dida should have saved it really).

We were going absolutely apesh!t when the ball hit the back of the net - Moiz almost pulled the PS2 off the counter when he jumped around with the controller still in his hand while I dropped off the couch on my knees screaming like a madman.

Yes, my friends and I have no lives.

I have been playing WE6 master league on Extreme for a while now. I was second in the first division with one game left as real Madrid. Bayern Munich were top by 3 points and they were playing the team at the bottom of the division, (Monaco) who had only won 3 games in the whole season.

I didn't think I had a chance but managed to beat the forth place team 2-0.

After the game it came straight up that I was the champion. I had drawn on points with Bayern as they had lost their game to Monaco and I had won the league on goal difference.

Pretty close shave! Brilliant
