I'd be interested to hear what players people have been buying in Master League. I'm into my 2nd season, having won Div 2. Fifteen games in to Div 1, I am 10 points clear at the top. My current squad is the dogz bolox.

My preferred formation is 4-4-2, using a diamond formation in midfield. Generally, I set all defenders to have very defensive bias with the arrows facing directly back to my own goal. All the other 6 players I have with full attacking bias towards opposition goal, although I tinker a fair bit if I'm 1-0 up and trying to hold a lead.

I've only kept Ivanov and Vorlander from the original line up but Cellini, Huygens, Eddington and Matt are still regular contributors.

Jancker is a bit of a donkey and I may try to off-load him soon. Nakata blows hot and cold - some games he's brilliant and has scored a couple of hat-tricks; other games he is virtually invisible.

btw what difficulty are you playing on and which season are you at?
im on season three
first season i was second after inter to move to the 1st ivision
second season i was first i won it by 23 points over bayern
noi im at my 19 game on season im 4th with 34 points first is bayern with 35 but im playing like crap this season i dont know why

Just started my 2nd season after coming 2nd in the 2nd division (maradonna scored sh1tloads of goals but no one else did)

after finding the 2nd div comfortable for the last 10 games i played barca in the opener of the new season and lost 2-0 to a rivaldo freekick and a rocket from about 35 yards from some other dude, then i drew the next game 0-0. hmmmm seems to have got harder or ive been playing too much today and need a break.

yes i noticed too that when you get into division one the games are getting harder it is more competitive everyone wants to win i hate bayern always on the top 3 damn them

the "\" means the player's attacking awareness is set to cut in/out diagonally. It may look like the team is to lop sided, but Beckham stays out on the right and Lopez is more often than not in plenty of space on the left for either getting crosses in or cutting in for the shot. My team has a lot of left footed players and Rivaldo and Beckham being left and right footed helps out in free kicks.

I'm soon going to be buying Thuram tio replace Rapka, and Ronaldo to replace Tristan. I'll also be strengthening my squad with worthy players to stand in for the 1st team when they are out of form.

I've reached my 4th season, I won Div 1 at the end of my third season (level 5), and am unbeaten at the moment (although that's bound to change). And I've got it on Autosave.
