It is easier to defend rather than attack in WE...just like in real-life which is why there are fewer teams like Real Madrid, Arsenal, ManU in real life.

When I was playing on ML(hard), I would normally end up consistently with the best defence in the league.
I think my best was something like 56 goals scored and 14 against in Div 1 with Liverpool

I flirted with ML Extreme once, winning Div 1 after 8 seasons
with PSV Eindhoven.
Then I had a disastrous spell with Liverpool. I was only trying to sign British players and ended up quitting after finishing bottom of Div 3 for three straight seasons. Then I went back to ML Hard with Liverpool. Won Div 1 in 4 seasons.

After winning the European and American cup on Level 5...
Now I'm back with Real Madrid on ML Extreme. First season in Div 3, finished 5th. Hoping for a good run in the Tiny cup.
My only signings so far : Ailton, Jardel, Babangida.

Hey, you know took me 3 seasons to transfer him, I also offered him alot of money, but finaly when Man U got relegated to div 2, he actually came to my team for less money, I figured out that he will accept my low offer cause he was in div 2. Its very hard to get him. Good luck.

Heheh... nah. If you are not in D1 and not a contender for the #1 spot... it's less than likely that Mr. Becks will even want to think of your squad! Some players are just like that throughout the game! Give it time and keep an eye on Man. U. Once you are kickin' some ML bootay and see Man. U. bitin' the dust, Mr. Becks might be beggin' to jump aboard.
