well there is a lot of interest in it.

Hell of a lot of stuff about new FM/CM

btw i dont think the affiliation to SI would be that hard to get

Not at all, just takes a week of them looking at the site. We'll need to make the site following their rules though. And it might scare off BGS/Eidos...

We'll need to set up version sections as well. 1+2+3 and their seasonal updates; 4+update; FM'05; CM5.

(Nothing will happen, if us 2 do it alone, so more input is welcome, especially on the willpower bit)

well the problem is ruud im happy to provide a lot, but i have no technical use, so i cant do a thing with the website BUT the content.

Yeah, i recomend a section for all games down to CM9798. lol

I'm very technical, but not up to date with coding. My last experiences were with qbasic on an old XT... Not counting some geocities shit.
We're both useless there.

i was thinking that, but would there ever be anyone on? lol

you COULD do a mini forum, but not a proper forum, just somewhere you can ask questions.

Also, interactivity makes websites good, allow the users to connect with the website somehow, lots of polls

No no, the forum link will lead you here. :)

On interactivity: commenting in stead of the mini-forum. Flame had that in his mockup as well, and SI have it as well. Works very good.

Tom

That Nice Guy
yeah that kind of thing, thats better.

Have things like screenie of the month, adaptions on that to increase interactivity.

I don't know if that has added value in this game. It's nice to feature screens or fan artwork for certain games, but for CM/FM? (:/)

Tom

That Nice Guy
yeah it works, you have cool funny screenies, not neccasailry big wins, but funny stuff

Annual challenges... :o

In the final months before the next release, have a (friendly?) competition. Shortens the waiting period. Or have them as often as you wish.

Tom

That Nice Guy
that would be 'you're' liam, not 'your' :p

Challenges arnt a bad idea Ruud, they'd be easier to organise on a website and then via this forum i think

SI affiliation will have them advertise our site on theirs, and a mention on the soccergaming frontpage will also help. We would definitely reach more people through a site.

SG will host it, if they like it enough, I believe they were advertising unlimited webspace and bandwidth earlier. A lot anyway. :p
