I bought it today.

Ball Physics? I dont think EA knows what that is. It is true when you run and turn the ball magically stays glued to the feet.

The Goalies are either super brilliant or super dumb. There is no in between. They pull saves off that no man in the world could react to... Or they just let the ball dribble into the box and then back up because its scares them or something.

The camera angles only offer 3. Close, Far or middle. All useless overall. It stays put in the centre of the pitch and pans left and right on pivot.

EVERYONE has the same moves. Regardless if your skill is higher or lower in tricks (At least so far anyways.)

If you choose 2 defenders and 1 striker. It makes ZERO difference. The defenders still roam in the attacking side of it all and leave you wide open for a counter.

Might as well just take all forwards that way your shot accuracy and power is good.

The players all look tall and skinny. Its almost like they just used the basketball engine and stuck some football faces on them. Half of them look like a bunch of thugs rather than elite soccer players.

You cant edit your favourite players stats. You just have to keep buying new ones who are better. You can up the stats of your own player though. But overall a useless system.

Overall I'd give the game about a 4/10 (Xbox Version)

Their is NO REPLAY value on this title after about 3 minutes. Its always the same thing over and over and over again.

I beat France tournament. Now I have to beat 7 more. Whoop Di Doo. Thats about all the meat to it.

I own all FIFA games. Never played WE. Plan on trading this POS game in with another one soon and trying out the WE series because this FIFA street is worthless.

PS: The controls are also 100% crap. You hit a button and half the time nothing happens. Ive been open on goal so many times and hit shoot and nothing. I just run right into the goalie.
This happens on open net volleys a lot too. Goalie is faked out goes down and you volley to an open player only to have the ball glued to his feet until the goalie gets back up?

You can play til 5 goals in free for all mode or if you play in the tournaments its just like soccer where you switch halves and play on a 3 min timer the final is a 5 min timer.

Last I check Figo retired from international play. So thats proably why he isnt part of the Portuguese lineup. As for Zidane, I have no idea why he isnt in. Hope this helps ya.

I'm guessing when you play the game a little more, you'll be able to unlock better moves..

And yes, the goalies have been pretty frustrating so far.. I've pulled off some awesome plays only for the goalie to save point blank shots :kader:

could care less about how the players look, but watch the real game, how many fat players do you see?

Unbelieveable that EA can produce masterpieces like Madden and Burnout 3, one of best, most fun driving titles ever -- can't wait to see it on next gen consoles -- and yet consistently put out crap footy titles.

They either don't any have any understanding of footy whatsoever -- street or real -- or they just don't give give a crap.

I don't rely on reviews in general -- but when this game is scored a 60 pretty consistently across the board -- something's obviously wrong.

What a black eye for EA Big -- makes the FIFA team look like near geniouses in comparision.

Well with all the bad reviews it does look bad on EA Bigs part, because theyve made some good games in that department. Ehh oh well.

I wouldn't call that a review. It sounds more like a complaint. You whine about everything. And you don't even mention anything GOOD about the game. I know people are going to be like, 'that's because there isn't anything good in the game.' Post something useful for once. You know like if you can choose what ball to use or if you can edit uniforms and stuff like that. I don't have any sympathy for you so stop whining you brat

Ok.........

You can edit you uniforms. You can choose what type of shirt you want. You can choose what colour and accent colour you want. You can choose if you want logos on the shirts on the front or back. You can choose shoe types. Pant types. Sunglasses or hats.

You can choose what ball you play with. Many too choose from. Aero Total 90's in Visibilty Yellow and other league colours like red abd blue.

You can add Tatoos to your created player.

For game options you can choose to play on a timer or until you reach a certain amount of goals.

You can create a dream team of the 4 players you want to play with but you cannot enter a tournament with them as you have to earn these players.

If you play a Friendly game you have to choose what country you play for and then you pick from that countries players.

You have a limited choice of music to play in the game no where near as many as FIFA 05 and not nearly as good as the tracks from that game either. There is a strong Latin theme to this game for its music I found. Not to my liking really when its mostly samba and salsa stuff.

When you create a player you can edit everything about them from weight height eyes nose ears etc..... fully customizable.

Too me though this stuff is not what the game is about. This is ALL fluff stuff. I would not buy any game on the planet because you can pick your clothes or soccer ball.

The actual game itself and its replay value are what are important to me when I buy games.

This game has 3 modes of play. Tournament mode where you get the chance to beat other teams then steal a player from them or go on to compete in the actual tournament.

You have friendly mode where you play a game against another country.

Dream team where you play your best team against other countries.

To me the 3 choices are limited. Once you beat the game there is nothing to do with it. There are no leagues or anything that you compete in. Just the tournaments.

The game in tournament mode is only about getting new players to raise your teams value to enter tournaments which require a higher team value.

Like I mentioned the physics of this game need huge improvements. I do realize this is an arcade game. But to butcher Football in this way its shouldnt even be given a FIFA logo to put on the box.

The controls as mentioned earlier are terrible. And you often ponder why the hell the game was released if its half broke.

There a more intensive review from a 29 yr old brat.

Don't understand what got Cobra all pissed off and cranky, but I thought Mutu's first post re: first impressions was informative and hit the most relevant points.

Cobra, if you want a list of features and shirt styles, hit the EA site. In the meantime, we're looking for some hands-on, gameplay impressions, wondering whether this game's worth $40.

How can it have positive reviews? FIFA Street sucks from all angles but somehow I just can't stop playing, it's repetitive as hell and it doesn't have much modes. Although I think this will be fun to play against others...

It is extremely fun playing against others. The game has a whole new depth. You cant judge FIFA street only on single player. The multiplayer is what dominates IMO. Especially if all your friends are watching and you pull off a sweet move and bike it into the net:rockman:

On a scale of 1 to 10
FIFA Street - 7
FIFA 2005 - 8
Winning Eleven 8 - 9.5

My score for Both FIFA Street and FIFA 2005 might be a half a point to generous, though the one for WE11 8 is spot on.

FIFA Street is fun at times, but it just gets to repetitive. Wait till it goes on sale or pick up an used one, because it's not worth full retail.

Maybe he is so critical because the Bad things overwhelm the few good ones by far. This game got a 5.4 (out of 10) from OXM... and I trust their reviews... more than I trust Ea’s ability to make a good soccer game... ;)
