I always used Ken and the hardiest to beat was this other dude exactly like ken. Ruy was my nemessis and to make things worse he used to came always before Vega. :boohoo: Blanka used to electrocute my @ss too.

The easier to beat for me was Dhalsim and Honda..

I remember Guile being the easiest to beat. His sonic booms sucked

Guile was one of the toughest ones to beat for me, he never stopped with his sonic booms and if you tried to jump towards him he used his Flash kick

I always thought Zangief was the easiest, at least I didn't have any problems in beating him (in SFII Turbo for SNES)
I always used Ken, Honda and Sagat (Y)

zangief is pretty stupid as well. i remembered there is a character name..umm...Shifty? his movement is quite similiar to Ryu/Ken, he is dumb and the easiest character to beat. i can easily finish him off within 15 secs without any super combo

Sagat was always pretty hard, cuz all he would do was fire those fireballs high and low ("TIGER! TIGER! TIGER!"), and then as soon as you would jump over the low one to jump-kick him, he'd "TIGERR UPPERCUT" your ass into tomorrow :kader:

and all Ryu would do was jump back into his corner and fire nonstop fireballs :(

depends what level you had it on, at hardest Blanca was relatively easy, where as Sagat was stupidly fast.

Dhlasim was always easy, and if you avoided the 100 hand slap then E-Honda was a bit poo :p

personally i had the greatest problems on hardest against Sagat (TIGER!) and Ryu

TROD.

i think sagat is quite stupid. just try to dogde this TIGER and move near him. while he do the TIGER, just press down to dogde continue by combo move before he becomes normal...

hard to explain here but this is my tricks to beat sagat

Which Street Fighter game is the best? I've gotten SFII, SFII Champion Edition and SFII Hyper Turbo (or something like that : all original SNES games) for the PSX. And I've heard that the games after those suck.

EDIT: and are there any good SF games for the PS2?

Street Fighter II Champion Edition is the best, in my opinion, and was my first ever Sega Genesis game. It's all about preference, though. The only Street Fighter PS2 game I know of is the Anniversary Collection; a revamped version of the originals, basicly. And a 3D version, but that one is tosh. I would recommend the Street Fighter Alpha series, there's 3 of them. They all came out for the PSX, but they should all be compatible with the PS2. The Alpha series is one of the best, it will keep you occupied for hours. The longevity and substance in the Alpha series is great.

my favourite game was SF2 Championship Edition for Sega, like Voltaic said

I liked SF2 Champion Edition for Genesis... though I sucked at it...
and Blanka... you fall in Brazil, you turn into that! used to like him though... he was my fav character along Honda and Chun Li...

the fighting game I have the best memories from would have to be xmen vs. street fighter though... Cammy + Akuma rocked!

I'm just wondering if this Street Fighter Anniversary Collection is the best yet for PS2 version.

used to love being sagat, there is no better feeling for me in street fighter games than , hitting that triple hit tiger knee, i used to reserve it until i was in the corner and it looked like I was beat and then, unleashed it. followed by two tiger uppercuts, the last one catching him while hes crouching thus draining 1/4 of his bar.]

Just noticed in that clip the guy had like his last bit of bar left, thats what made it all the more incredible
