If Konami forgot to get licences then EA forgot to get decent gameplay, weather affects, shooting system, short corners, half decent AI...the list goes on....
With PES3 on PC soon who needs the default teams...
Well, from the people who's opinions MEAN even half of a **** to me, the gameplay is getting closer if not better or equal to PES3.
And also I emphasize MEAN.
People take things far too seriously. We are on the internet people, talking about a game, not having a political debate in Government!
And to all those who say that calling the game sh*t is merely an opinion, i beg to differ...
FIFA is a crap game - technically, as a football game it sucks. It's only selling points are the licences and graphics. Everything else falls a million miles short of what PES offers in the gameplay field. This is not an opinion. It is fact.
I am not saying FIFA cannot be enjoyed, and that anyone is wrong for doing so. This is your perogative and right to do so. However, it doesn't change the fact that the game (as a game unto itself) is crap.
The same way that Van Gogh's Sunflowers is a fantastic painting, and whether you get pleasure from it and like it does not change this fact.
And that people who get turned on by eating sh*t (and there are such sick people in this world - i believe it is called 'scat') enjoy doing so, yet for most of us we would consider this plain wrong and anything but fun. And FIFA players, much like these sh*t-eaters, may very well get enjoyment from the large turd that EA produce every year, but this doesn't change the fact that like the sh*t-eaters, they are consumers of sh*t. Here endeth the lesson.

Difference is that we can apply a patch in two minutes to solve our licensing issues. Try doing that to solve the problems yours has.
