I don't think that's true. I remember there was a game in the WC, where one team forfeited or something, and all the team had to do was go down and score by themselves.

No, it was at the begining of the WC 2002 Third PLace Match with Turkey v. S.Korea. about 9 or 10 seconds into the match Ilhan Mansiz passed to Hakan Sukur and he scored.

im guessing he saw the goalie distracted or summin so he just smacked the ball as hard as he could from kickoff and by some fluke it actually went in
