Work Permits?

what determines if a player is granted a work permit or not? I just started a new Man City game and offered contracts to both Tsigalko and Nikiforenko, but I doubt that they'll get work permits. Why? I have no fucking clue, which is why I'm asking right now. Damn English leagues :kader: :f***: :crazyboy:

ANSWER ME YOU BASTARDS!!! :crazyboy:

and while you're here, can anyone tell me why my screenshots are such large files? they're all over 110KB, so I can't even upload them anymore :(

You probably won't get them to prem at least for a few years.. Player gets work permit easier if he has lost of international matches under his belt. However, it seems to me that computer managed teams get always every time permits, even to a player whom I couldn't sign because he didn't get one!

Don't know about the large files, and can't be bothered with this gigantic hangover at work.

Best regards,

a bastard.

Oh and it's lots, not lost... If someone finds more spelling mistakes, just report to this post.

Breach: ahh... ok, I'll go after Nikiforenko after he gets a few int'l caps ;) :p and I really need him now since that Eyal Berkovic bastard wants to "move to a bigger club"... unloyal bastard... he's my best player too :crazyboy:

monkeyhappy: well it worked, didn't it? :o

I think work permits are determined by % of games played for the team. In real life, UK managers have got to prove that there is no English Player available that could play the position better before getting a work permit.

Your screen shots are probably saved in .bmp. Save them in .jpg and they'll be a lot smaller.

I do save them as .jpgs, but they're still too big, even when I cut out some parts of the screenshot :(

depends on what you mean by edit... I just print screen, paste it in paint and then save it as a .jpg

same here.

paste it into paint, try playing around with it a bit (cut as much of it out as you can) and try saving it as a JPEG again... if that doesnt work you could always try a GIF. But a bitmap on the net is a big no no.

TROD.

if you don't have any 3rd party paint program installed, Paint will use the standard windows jpeg compression, which is not very good. You might do well to download a trial copy of Paint Shop Pro from www.jasc.com as this will save the jpegs smaller, and has options to change the compression level. The trial will only last for 30 days though so you'll have to buy it after then or [censored]
