i say get in touch with konami america and tell them what's going on... or try sony online customer support like shinji said

yes all my otehr game sgo online, it conencts and it gets past dnas, but then when i register a name is where i get the problem

I can imagine how frustrating it must be.. seriously bro, I think the only way you're gonna get it resolved is to find some support numbers and call. Who knows, maybe it's just a temporary thing with the servers.

I had the same problem but once I made my username and password 8 characters each it worked so I am not sure. I did all lowercase I think. Unless the name is already taken for some reason but I would think it would tell you that. It's weird.

I have a modded PS2 and had no problems regestering. The only problem I get is when it connets to DNAS. Sometimes it fails. So i just retry till it connects. Dont know if its because of my modded system though.

Vandeta, when you enter a name and a pass and hit register, what exactly does the message say?

even you put connect your ps2 without a router to get around the firewall, you still have to change the settings.

create new connection file. start everything from scratch.

Nice to hear so many got the PS2 version.

I didn't know which one to choose, but I just love the PS2 controller, so I went with that one.


I'll need to get a new network adapter tomorrow though, I sold the other PS2 that had one with Socom 3...

i did make a new connection didnt work, i have the real game, i do have a mod chip cuz i do play imports, but my friend does to and his works fine, the error i get is , "unable to register" and when i use a name my friend gave me it still dont work it says unable to validate , im gettign so pissed its almost been 2 days and its not working im pissed!

register your account on your friends ps2 if his works fine.
then try loggin in from your system.

usernames and pass do not get save on the memory card so your friend will not what you have entered and access your account if you don't want him to.

if you can connect online wit you ps2 fine then that will do da trick.
