Not too sure if the MLS and Concacaf region is set up differently in this years new version as apposed to last years which i am using..but was curious if anyone will admit to playing as a MLS club team ? ... and if you have any good stories or tricks to point out.

I play the MLS squads a lot and I enjoy the task of being able to virtually build a team from the ground up... as most clubs other then DC United , just want to put some wins together, regardless of how you go about it. I usually use the NJ Metrostras as they have a few nice players to build a squad around , with Clint Mathis and Marc Chung in the midfield and a young reliable keeper named Tim Howard. I have had some good success with the Metros and have taken them to the status of World beaters, thanks to a great run in the World Club Cup.

Here is the my mighty Metrostar team that I am playing with now. We are in our thrid season and doing damn well :

Stan Collymore Landon Donovan

Z. Boban Stephan Effenberg L. Amorusso C. Mathis

P. Dillon J. Woodgate Mike Petke Kammiura

Howard/Rachubka

.... also just signed 34 yearold frenchman E. Petit to play in the midfield.

...... also have to say that Kammiura from Purple Sanga in the J-League turns out to be one world class defender and for only 95thousand...no he's worth 2.7million! and the same go's for Irish defender P. Dillon from Rotherham.

You've done well with the Mighty Mighty Metro! Collymore up front? LOL. Maybe he actually would come here, not many English clubs want anything to do with him anymore.

I'm managing Vessel Kobe in the J-League (as an American). We're doing quite well, and as the money starts to come in, I'm going to try to bring over some of the MLS talent and see how they blend in.

P.S. I see we both like the same clubs! Went to the MetroStars game Saturday as a matter of fact. 1-1 draw :(, but a good crowd for MLS.

well to tell you the truth i'd rather be a conference team instead of a MLS team...the reason is in my opinion european conpetition is much much better :)
