Yeah, but will he be takin` them with his right foot ?
( NOT BASHING EA MODS, JUST EMPHASIZING THE FACT THAT THEY PUT HENRY AND TREZ AS LEFT FOOTERS IN EURO 2004 . . . )
Hopefully it will also be fixed in other leagues other than the EPL. In FIFA 2004, the database for EPL was really accurate, but they meesed up in other leagues.Originally posted by AndrewC
100% agree with you. This was a weakness of Euro 2004. Half the players had incorrect preferred feet.
I can tell you that this is one area that is much improved. I know for certain that Henry takes set-pieces right footed. Matt Holme (former webmaster of Soccer Gaming) is one of those at EA making sure that this area is greatly improved this year.
EA this year have gone to great lengths to improve FIFA back to how is should be. Every area of the game should be better than ever, including the data. There has only been positive signals coming from those who have played FIFA 2005. We shall see in October, but I'm confident that it will be a great game.

If FIFA wanna beat WE8, this is one area they should really be focused on, cos` in WE8 the favourite foot settings seems more unstable than in the previous versions.

Yeah man, in WE8 they got stats for the weaker foot accuarcy, frequency, etc.
As far as this stuff, WE's ****in awesome.
They have tons of attributes and everything affects how you play.
I don't think the stats have that much of an effect on gameplay in FIFA though...

Hopefully you could do a normal pass from corners.
Well, I disagree. It does give a lot of effects on gameplay. For example, you are controllin` a left footed Recoba, but the tight defenders marking you down so closely that they manage to close down your shootin` angle with your left foot, what would you do ? You would try to get around the defender until you get a proper shootin` angle, or give it a go with your right ( but there`s a big chance it would miss, weaker, or way out of goal ), or you can pass it back to your teammates in a more free space. See, just one factor manages to gives you so many options like in real-life football. This factor will also force you to use your brain and strategy when thinking about havin` a shoot or makin` a pass, cos` you need to be sure wheter it can be done with your favourite foot to gain more accuracy. Some exceptional players tough has an equal skills with both of their foot, so this why we need some kind of a "tolerance" settings, so we can set how good they`re when they`re usin` their wrong foot.Originally posted by jumbo

I know this year they have added some styles to set-pieces. I've heard that Henry, for example, takes penalties just like he does in real life.

well in one of the producer diarys Danny Isac said that Henry can really fly down the pitch. so that means that Zidane can probably fly down the pitch too in fifa!
