Why Inter?!

And why do they suck so much? I'm playing a netgame with a friend. I admire Juventus or taking a lower team but he took Milan so I wanted a bit more of a rivalry. Still first season. Here's the squad:

My defense SUCKS! Before this formation I had a 4-4-2 but I didn't do much better. I had to change it because I lost 2-nil to Arsenal in an ECL fisrt leg match. Here was the second leg:

A similiar thing also happened with Juve. So far I've lost all my first leg matches and then came back to win the second (against Juve Eliakwu scored the most incredible goal. How do I show it? It was amazing).

With these players, with a tactic that beat Arsenal 7-2 (I recently switched to a slightly modified version of Dave's training schedule), why do I lose to bottom teams...actually, why do I lose to everyone!? Is it just Inter?

Change your tactic. Your defenders are getting slaughtered by the opposition wingers, play 4 at the back and be happy.

Inter is always very good on CM for me when a computer plays them

whenever i play as inter its easy, whenever the computer plays as inter its easy. I dont understand why you arnt in the top 3.

yup. Inter are probably the most overrated team in CM (one of the most overrated at least). They have won the league 5 or 6 times and I'm in year 2010.

Then it has something to do with individual instructions. From your screenie i noticed you dont really score much too.

I think it is the individual player tactics. I put them on presets (central defender, full back...etc).
I just took England through Euro with the preset individual instructions and I lost twice, drew once. I tried it again without setting them and won all group games only to lose to Bulgaria

Dont put everyone on pre-sets. Use defensive mentality for all your back 4 (play 4 at the back, i insist), put your both DC's on man marking, have your full backs on zonal marking and dont let them adventure themselves too much.

For the strikers, use both on gung-ho, long shots, run with the ball, and have your target man also holding up the ball. You can try free-role for them, they're harder to mark this way.

In midfield I play with 3 central midfielders, you need a ballwinner, an attacking midfielder and also a good free kick taker mine is as follows

But here is the most important part, you put the central midfielder with a massive arrow from centre mdfield right up to the centre forward, in doing this, with nedved, he has scored 90 goals in 2 seasons for me, and we an **** hot!
