Why has FIFA dissapointed you in the past?

Every time they fix something, the break something else.

Fifa 99 world class was too hard, 2000 was too easy.
2001 and 2002 I thought were great, however in 2002 you could score from the half way line, I know Becks did it once but evey match, duh!
2003, headers were screwed up.
2004 THE MENU SYSTEM, THE CONTROL PADS, THE GOD AWFUL DISCRACEFULLY PANTS MUSIC!!!
The cruddy multiplayer has been a long running issue too.
If 2005 doesn't work with my saitek 2500, im mailing the game and the pad with a bill for the both of them to EA.

On an off topic note, they wrecked command and conquer too.

I try to look for Controller Settings since I got myself used to FIFA 98 believe it or not. AND WHAT DO I ENCOUNTER????????

you cant change any settings. Hopefully in 2005 they wont make the same retarded mistake. How can something so SIMPLE be left out of a HUGE GAME????????

I didn't really like the music in Fifa 2004. Especially because there were one or two songs that kept playing again and againnnnnnnn ! I feel like the controls aren't bad .. maybe because I've gotton used to them but I feel like they are easy to use. That's my view ...

the nets ? whats wrong with the nets in fifa ? lol who cares about nets, nah PES has great gameplay but i play fifa for the licences and stuff, when i get to pissed off about the crappy scripted gameplay in fifa i play some PES. mix PES and fifa together we would have one hell of a game !

are ALL the players in fifa 2005 the same height??? it sure looks like it to me, and they all have massive feet, probably why it looks like they cant kick the ball properly, every time you pass, shoot , cross, take penalty's etc etc. Or maybe having large feet helps the players get around the massive pitches

FIFA 2005 disappointeted me allready switching to the club i support,and seeing the stats totally wrong compared to real life statistics, games and players ratings...

1) the gameplay really sucks, its nothing but realistic but, is not even playable, i mean, 2004 wasn't realistic either but at least the gameplay was more dinamic. Here the players are very "hard" (they look like are running with a stick in the ass..).

2) Rating are wrong. Arsenal and the FA premier league are way over rated. Arsenal is better than the national teams of france, argentina, brazil, italia??, that's really ridiculous.
The players on the premier league are over-rated , how much time in the real life has pat since an english team has winning something international? (Of course some english well hate my post)

3) Commentary. Again the same boring thing. The same words an phrases than a year ago and the 2003.2002, amazing!!

4) the dribble with the "shift" is do unrealistic!! any player of the world do the "bycicle" when in the real life, hardly only denilson, ronaldo, zidane and a few others can do that.

I have more but im tired of writing the post.

Actually i would like to comment on this...

I totally agree on the fact that the premier League is overrated big time...but i think they wanna suck up for english fans!

I'm dissapointed with the crowd in FIFA 2005. In 2003 and 2004 you could see many different types of crowd. Now they only made 2 types . And every stadium is full again. Last year you had empty stadiums when you where playing badly.
I just don't understand why they take something out which is good.

1st of all i skipped 2003 & 2004. Now i noe most ov u guys out ther r d type who enjoy d "realistic atmosphere". Howevr there r a few ppl out ther(like me) who find 2005 realy boring coz of d lack of feeling in it. Hehe i reali enjoyed d corny music & overexagerated celebration cutscenes of 2002. As far as im concerned, i play d game 4 fun & watch football on d telly 4 all d real spills & thrills. Therefore itz back 2 2002 4 me. Gonna finish d career(d only thing i find kool in 2005) 1st though Oh yeah.........& d lack of an internal creation center sux too. Wif a 56K connection.......itz gonna take hours 4 me 2 download it wen & if it comes out
