Why Are There No Patches for FIFA 20? A Missed Opportunity?

As we all know, the new FC 25 is out, and it's getting a lot of attention from the community. But I can't help but wonder—why are there still no patches available for FIFA 20? The game had solid gameplay, good graphics, and was an important part of the FIFA series, yet it seems to have been ignored by patch creators.

Even though FC 25 is the latest hit, I feel like FIFA 20 had some unique elements that deserve attention from the modding community. Could it be that the focus has shifted entirely to newer titles, or is there something specific about FIFA 20 that makes it less appealing for patch development?

I'm curious to hear what everyone thinks about this. Has FIFA 20 been forgotten too quickly?

I think you're a minority here.
Besides, FIFA 20 was the last Frostbite FIFA before FIFA Editor Tool and doesn't support FIFA 20 to this very day.
So you're destined to use Frosty Toolsuite. We simply moved on.

I also loved FIFA 20 even with the large number of bugs it had at the beginning of its release, I think it was the last game in this saga, both FIFA and FC, that I dedicated many hours of play to and with which I got fully involved to start add mods.

But there is one detail and honestly I have always found Frosty Editor Tool somewhat complex to use, for some reason I don't like to move it or sometimes it felt quite slow.

And I agree with you, the game still has a lot of potential, but I don't think there are many people willing to modify it, at least I no longer have the time I would like, but if you send me a DM and tell me what exactly you want to do, we can discuss something. although the FIFA 20 community is undoubtedly very small at present.

Mate, it´s just not true that there are no more mods or Patches available for FIFA 20.
I am a Dude where can get out of every elder FIFA Game somewhat positive or some what I like. And secondly I have serious Problems to delete Mods which I have once collected. haha. So if you really want to relife the Game with some mods or Patches than feel free to look at my attached Screenshots from my HDD on my Computer related to FIFA 20 mods.
I can´t say there are less opportunities for having a good modded FIFA 20 even in 2024. The only thing I can´t deliver to you is a up to date Squad File from 2024. But if you can handle that I can upload for you some mods if you wanna try some of them. Everything is available and working which are for example:

- FIP 20 Patch from FIFA Infinity
- a working Live Editor from Aranaktu
- a Pitch mod from eSIM
- Camera Mod and 4k LOD Tool from Fidel aka Doctor+ Gameplay Modder
- Fifer´s huge FIFA 20 Realism Mod (Faces, assets, the usual FIFER stuff)
- Also I horde many many Single Faces which were created by the Face Modders back in 2019/20
- I have also Paulv2k´s great gameplay Mods collected
and last but not least don´t forget we have a unique Mod which are only available for FIFA 20 post-FIFA 16 FIFA´s from scouser who made a solid Version of the Revolution Mod for FIFA 20. It´s not possible to have the same features like in FIFA 16 because of limitations in modding structure, but you are able to assign various kits to a single team, or you can assign boots to Players, Face assignments etc. Of course most of those features are also covered by Live Editor but the multiple kits assignment to a single team is great imo.

Yes! Like other older FIFA´s like 17 or 18. But tell you what, sometimes I make my journey through the older FIFA´s when I am not wanna play FIFA 16 or FC 24 or 25.

All?? That´s too much. I have only 10 GB upload storage at Mega.nz. Just all the Patches I have on my drive would be around 20 GB. But let´s start with FIFER´s Realism Mod. This is from his homepage and the links for mediafire are 100% working. You can start downloading this Patch. No need for me to upload the mod.

FIFAinfinity Patch 4.4 works also on the website. Great mod with licensing all unlicensed Teams and Competitions in FIFA 20. Even Brazilian League.

Why anyone can't upload FIFA 20 to the current season 2024/2025?, is the most complete with all competitions and leagues, if somebody knows how could be work kits create by FIFA kits manager, i´ll appreciate a lot the answer, hopefully positive.
