I cannot wait to see Big Sam's vision of Newcastle become a reality. Expect Bolton v2 hooffer ball.....with a lilttle more passing..
In a sense I'd be not over the moon about effective route one football, then I think back to all the games I had to watch this season, and I swear any tactic that involves two players exchanging the ball will be an improvement.

If you think about, kick and run will be perfect as martins and owen are fast as ****.

Errm not the time for Newcastle fans to dictate whether they want fancy football or not. They need results and Sam can get those. It might take a while. Newcastle needs results right now and thats what the cairman would be expecting. The time of fancy football has gone. They tried that and it hasnt really worked. Its time for results dont you think.

Besides this is Premiership football. Get the ball up the field and create a scoring opportunity as opposed to passing it at the backline. Players like Martins and Owen are perfect for that direct football. Which has always worked here. Just like people hated Bolton. But it works.

i dont think he will play the same way he did with bolton, bacause he had **** players there.

in newastle he has much better players and iam sure he will come up with a system that will suite them. it still wont be carpet football but it will be better the bolton he will also make them very solid at the back, which is the reason newcastle had a **** season.

Help?

Just as i predicted. I think its a good move by the club and he surely can't be worse than Souness and Roeder?

great news for Newcastle. Now the 50,000 fans that show up per game can probably start seeing some improvements.

What? Diouf is a quality player when on top form. I am guessing you hate him because of 2 /3 spitting incidents years ago?

If people read todays papers they would know how detailed Sam goes in his coaching. Hopefully it works in the right ways. But it needs time
