Man, just skimming these threads in here, I had to catch my breath. I can't wait to stop visiting this forum and start playing the game, because every time I stop in I feel a little more miserable and defeated. Is this anyway to spend precious leisure time?

Threads here range from rampant, unbridled EA hate to paranoia to people conspiring to pirate software ... you'll find it all in the forum, with the exception of a bit of logic.

I think the moderators of this forum have an obligation to ensure its relevance. Having said that, they are also ruled mightily by the advertising here - the more exposures the better, and I'd suspect they don't care much about the quality of the discussion so long as traffic remains high, so let everyone bitch endlessly ...

How about a forum dedicated solely to FIFA 2004 Strategy and Development. This could be an area where people who enjoy the game (although I'm not sure any are here) could gather for a productive exchange on skills, team management, stategy, gameplay, and patches. This forum could be explicitly for discussion by FIFA fans, and would avoid the inane arguments from the other smarm intent on ruining everyone else's day, including missionaries for other games most of us don't play ...

If this is not available, perhaps someone can recommend a place online where this does happen, because this forum does altogether ciphon my spirit dry.

It's amazing how something so small as a video game that brings such anticipation and joy could be spiked with hate, malice and intimidation to those with seemingly nothing better to do.

You can establish a second forum where those only interested in destroying can convene to take turns sucking my dick. Testicle-gobbling Wolves are most welcome.

I am not trying to take away your main hobby, I'm just saying there is a segment of people here who want to have their own discussion on their own theme.

Threads contributing strategy and control (dribbles) havent been bashed. But they got burried becasue of the current horrible feedback of the game product.

Each time you visit this thread and feel the game sucks there is only 2 reason:

1) the game does sucks
2) you dont have good faith on fifa 2004.

I would have figured you would prefer a forum all to yourself as the last post I read from you stated "I don't give a f*** what you all think". So surely it would be better to have your own forum with your favourite person for company, you.

Funnily enough, the one person who is constantly devoide of any relevance (everybody else at least talks about the game or EA and funnily enough this is the FIFA 2004 made by EA forum) is you. Your posts always center around your opinion of other peoples opinions rather than any actual insight or revelation.

You sadly seem to be under the impression that everybody on here really cares about what you write as if you're writing off of everybody;s opinion except for your own would deeply upset everybody. Thing is, I doubt anybody would notice if you disappeared off the face of the earth.

So, go off and form your own board rather than suggesting two seperate boards here. After all, the person who's opinion you worship the most is your own and you've already declared in the past that everybody elses opinion means nothing to you. Kind of makes people wonder why you'd bother joining a forum if you don't care about anybody elses opinion other than your own. Oh, that's right, because you want everybody to value your opinion as much as you do.

And item number 2034 for evidence. The repetition of his usual theme "I don't give a f*** what you think". One sure sign to make sure nobody cares what you think is to declare that you don't care what they think. Good old Canadian logic there, the kind of mind that made the game in the first place!

To everybody else except this idiot:
We should seperate the constant FIFA 2004 is crap content because it does digress away from accurate feedback of the game. The game does have things missing again and it does have gameplay issues but there are ways to constructively break the game down into what needs to be improved and changed. As a PES/WE fan I know that the Konami series is less than perfect and I know things need adding and changing and to do that, identification of the key problems or needed enhancements is better than "this sucks" etc.

FIFA 2004 doesn't suck, it has issues which need resolving whether by EA or patchmakers in the community. A lot of people feel let down but they have the choice to either stick with the game or go over to PES3. EA have a choice, to either deal directly with those issues or lose fans. But, one thing is for sure, if you do just post "FIFA suckz" all the time it doesn't achieve anything.

However, takign away the right to point out deficiences in the game or shield people who are looking for genuine feedback on the game before they spend money on it isn't fair either. I don't count anybody's opinion as invalid as everybody comes from different angles and is looking for different things to please the. For some people, the chance to play as Peterborough United is a dream come true and I'm glad for them. For others, being able to play online without paying meant a lot to them and now that's been dashed. People have a right to get upset because things were taken away and fans haven't found out until they've bought the game. On the other hand, EA's depth is to be commended. They've created an in-depth game with most of the best leagues in the world, authentic squads, teams and uniforms, crowd chants, stadiums, etc. The gameplay I believe still falls way short and that was something I think they needed to get right especially with PES3 being released on PC but then I don't think they had much time to prepare for that as even Konami fans didn't have it confirmed that PES3 was coming to the PC until September.

So anyway, regardless of what Reg (Canadian "please suck my dick" guy) says, respect other's opinions but try and keep the pointless bashing out of it because that acieves nothing. However, don't give up your right to free honest criticism becasue somebody decides to cuss at you about your right to do so in a forum which is meant to be about the game in all aspects not how to worship and ignore anything wrong with the game.

We KNOW you value what people think of YOUR opinion and if you want constructive discussion, about creating some rather than offering people to give you blow jobs and denouncing everybody elses opinions? Listen, I'm willing to let go the Canadian comment, God knows Texas is embarassed to have you, although I'm sure your cousins are delighted with your performance.

With all this subtext of hate (my fault, I hate you and everything you stand for) let's not lose the point of my thread.

That is, the establishment of a forum where there can be a discussion of FIFA 2004 Strategy and Gameplay. Then people who think it sucks and are not interested in Strategy, Gameplay or FIFA 2004 as a whole can be parasites on the other forums. If you hate the game and don't play it or own it, why would you want to talk about gameplay, kits, strategy, etc.? It wouldn't make any sense.

Think of this new forum as an airtight container in a field of Texas steer ****. People with purpose can have a sensible discussion free of intrusions, and everyone else can fight among themselves until they get carpal tunnel syndrome.

People who enjoy Konami games will respect it and stay clear, and we can avoid the proliferation of senseless arguing for those who want to debate the game merits - which is valid, nothing wrong there.

So come on, you flaccid excuses for moderators, do something. Make an investment to save the 10% here who do want a discussion which is relevant to playing the game. Opinions, bashing, praising and everything else can go on here, but let there be a haven for something good to come off this endless rhetoric.
