Kezmen (he would add something different going foward especially if Bellamy's plagued with more long-term injuries)

Having said this there are plenty of youngsters coming up threw the ranks who are eager to make a name for themselves.

Anyway, given transfer funds are short at the moment, and Anelka will be first out the door means a decent striker is paramount, I think five players might be a bridge too far:

1. Mikael Forssell (if Chelsea decide 159 stikers are too many)
2. Alan Smith (if Leeds are relegated)
3. Nicky Butt (although I doubt he would make THAT move, would be useful to guide Joey Barton into the long-term defensive midfield position)
4. A right back. ANY right back.
5. Make Daniel Van Buytens loan permanant.

Yea Chopra might even get a run out here soon. The boy is special. Also Brittan has looked good for the reserves too. Viana was also in form against Villa. We have talent if it gets a chance to shine.

Now for who I would buy:

Zander Diamond - Aberdeen - He is young and Sir Bobby likes young players. He has talent and will only get better. Could fit in well at Newcastle.

Alan Smith - Leeds - He has the heart we need. Plays tough every game. Incredible player to watch. Never gives up and will do anything to win. Has a mindset like Shearer.

Les Ferdinand - Leicester City - If foxes go down I think Ferdinand will wan't one more season of top flight football. I think he would be perfect for Newcastle. We need someone who can come in start every once and a while and score goals. He has shown he can do that this season even at 38. I can think of nothing better than seeing Shearer and Ferdinand retiring together considering all that they have done for Newcastle.

Also I say move Hughes to the center and get a new right back.
