I was expecting Clive Owen but since I like him so much Im happy he's not doing it cause I dont like the new James Bond movies :p

Julian McMahon is in Nip/Tuck (a cable show (drama) here about plastic surgeons. He's also Dr. Doom in the Fantastic Four movie.

He would be perfect for Bond but he's too good for these new crappy Bond movies

I feel the same about Daniel Craig. They really should make a big effort this time to restore out faith in Bond - Quentin Tarantino directing would be a start.

I bet Tarantino would be up for it.

He's the ultimate movie geek, he should be a Bond fan.

Yeah he loves Bond, wants to do a remake of Casino Royale. He would probably be willing to write the Screenplay too.

The next one will be Casino Royale but it won't be directed by Tarantino from what I heard.

They'll have to make this movie really good after the recent disasters. Whatever happened to proper Bond, it was good until Goldeneye.

do you include GoldenEye in the good ones or not? cause I did like Golden Eye but then The World is not Enough, Tomorrow Never Dies, and whatever was the second Brosnan one sucked.

I really disliked Goldeneye - the worst of the bunch in my opinion. I didnt mind Tommorow Never Dies, at least the storyline was quite original and more engrossing than most of the new Bond films, but for me, the last good Bond film was License to Kill.

Yeah up until Goldeneye, that wasn't the best but acceptable. Especially if you compare it to the utter garbage they have been putting out recently.

Haha, loads of people seem to think he will be over here, but not a chance in hell.

I had heard a while back that Cuba Gooding Jr. was one of the people taken into consideration.

are they trying to make Bond the next Carlos*o?

Carlosman would make a good bond. i think that Brosnan made a good action Bond, but not a great substance actor. he looked much more sporty than his predecessors, but for some reason wasn't as interesting. Goldeneye is still my favorite movie though, mainly because i absolutely love the video game.

Never heard any rumours linking Colin Farrell to it at all :s

I'm still betting on Dougray Scott

Did you know, along time ago (when he was young) Michael Gambon was due to play Bond, but it stopped at the last minute.
