Situation: The year is 2004. We are in the summer transfer season. I am managing Birmingham, we finished 4th in the EPL last year. Now we are in the CL. We have 23 million to spend.
Tactic: Although I am a bit ashamed, I do use WWW2. So I'm pretty sure no one needs an explanation of my tactic.
Players: Currently our team relies very heavily on wunderkind Maxim tsigalko. Leading scorer in the EPL by a wide margin.
Gk: Chiotis, Voulgaris
I think im pretty set in that position with the greek talent.
DC: I rotate Risp, Dorsin, tebily and j.Hutchison. The first three are decent at the Premier League level, but I have fears about them being owned in the CL.
DMC: David Mendes Da Silva. I think this is my weakest spot, I have no depth and Da Silva is still young, although in the 12 games he played las year, he had the highest rating, along with 4 goals and 7 assists. Stupid Karembeu retiring...
DML: David Livermore has been a revelation for me here. Outstanding wonder by the kid with perfect amc sats (drib and fin, and pace 20). When he is unavailable I sacrifice some of the offense but maintain a steady defense with Dorsin in his place.
DMR: The legend. Mike duff. No need expalaing, but I dont really have a back up. Duff played in every single game fo me last season.
MC: (left) The ageing Jose Dominguez is still solid and my young prospect Neri Alberto Castillo is close to taking over his spot.
MC: (center) Another legend: Mark Kerr. Self-explanatory. Except hes always getting "possible injury".
MC: (right) The captain Kim Kallstrom is in this position. I usually interchange him with Woodhouse when necessary. I think I need more Midfield depth... far more. I have my eye on Van Der vaart, he is interested in signing for me, but is kinda pricy at 17 mill pounds
AMC: Here I have two kids, one you probably all know, tonton Moukoko, hes my #1 at that position. The other is Nourdin Boukhari, hes 23 and Morocaan and scores at a goal a game pace for his country. Has 20 drib and 19-20 Finishing. He's fast too. Moukoku usualy outperfermos him anyways.
Fc: My faveorite CM player: Maxim Tsigalko. Go ahead consider him a cheat player, but I dont care. He finished #1 in the league in goals by a 14 margin... He has 37 goals in 25 caps for Belarus and many other accomplishments. I am guilty of playing him too much, but hes never tired or injured and scores incessantly. I have Shola Ameobi and Graham Barrett as his backups, but probably the best backup is Karl Collier. Collier has good SC stats, and scores bunches as well, but that was in D1. and tsigalko always, always outperforms him. In the reserves I have Stern John and clinton Morrison just walloving away, I just cant give them much time and would sell them cheap, if anyone would take them.
Some of my reserves are: Pagguy Zunda, doing pretty well, but not outstanding. Alex Farnerud, same boat, and Jovan Kirovsky, well, hes American so thats self-explanatory. I have Jonas Lunden arriving on a free sometime in January.
