Hey, can you read, I said do not mention ISS.

PC will always be the best for games, forget PS2.

As for fifaRTW98, I already have that game, and I don't want to go back to 98. I don't know why some people like fifa games, I hate them all, I prefer playing sensible soccer, lol.

topstriker2001, we all seek the perfect Pc football game, but as yet it hasn't been made, the best football game is the one that you personly enjoy the most, one players choice isn't usually another players choice, we all look for different 'wants and needs' in the games that are available at the moment and always expect more than they produce .. the answer to the ?? about UCL demos is, there are no demos that i am aware of, but you can probably find the two versions sitting in the many pc fairs that are active during the weekends ... Errr Iss PE2 & EPSXE or VGS (emulators) = Best Pc Football game period

RTWC 98 is definitely best FIFA game but I think UC with a patch will be much better.

I know ISS is a good game, but I am not gonna buy a PS2 because this console will soon be crap.

Consoles are always changing, they are too many, PC is plain and simple, all you have to do is improve your specs instead of buying a new one.

You can play ISS PE 2 on your computer using an emulator such as ePSXe.

You don't need a PS1 or 2 to play it

The amount that us suckers keep forking out for new processors, graphics cards etc. With the money spent we could probably buy all the new consoles anyway.

Anyway get Uefa Challenge if its available where you live, its buggy right now but once theyve patched it it'll be the best game DESIGNED for PC.

OK, I have epSXE emulator, but are you sure ISS will run on it, because most games don't, the ones that do are slow.

Is it my graphics card?

I think it depends on your specs
Im Running on Athlon 1.333 Ghz
Geforce2 mx
256 Mb Ram
and I can't get the FPS right with EPSXE - either too fast or too slow

It runs perfectly on Connectix Virtual Game Station though.
The problem is VGS runs at same resolution as TV with little to no hardware effects so it looks pretty chunky whereas EPSXE looks brilliant.
The graphics are no biggy though because the gameplay is what makes the game stand out.

Give it a try and if it doesnt work I'll dig up a VGS link for you.

The best way to play ISS is own a PSone Anyway, I think bleem is the best emulator but they haven't updated for half a year, so most new games can't run on it.
Well.. Smackdown 2 runs perfect on bleem though

I am no EA FIFA game fan. I think most FIFA games has been pure crap, with one outstanding exception.
I only like FIFA RTWC 98, simply because it is a quite realistic soccer simulator when edited a bit.
I respect that you don't like EA games but please try downloading the patch from http://www.FIFARTWC.cjb.net and atleast try it. I promise it is the best soccer sim (except for Championship Manager) that has been released for PC.
You could atleast try it...

FIFA 98 had a huge impact on 'xmas 1997... It was undoubtly world's best soccer game, with cartloads of teams, good gameplay and acceptable graphics. By these reasons many are still completely addicted to the game.
