When a player becomes a coach do they get a regen player?

When a player becomes a coach do they get a regen player? In my 2012 game, all good players become coaches... so will my game be deprived of stars in the not too distant future?

Well this opens the debate whether there are regens or not.

dunno. Some say that in Cm03/04 regens arent even related with the country nation position of the retired player, that they are just random...

I'm believing in Cody's version of regens. It are players that are created randomly and they don't become an exact copy of a player that is retired

But regens only appear if another player retires.

When a player becomes a staffmember, AND retires from active footie, a regen will be created. If he keeps playing while being a coach/scout/physio, there won't be a regen yet.

I think so too, it seems like the only new good players come from England and Italy. I search for them with CM Scout at the beginning of new season, theyre usually Goalkeepers from Italy

I have enough proof that there aren't really regens anymore, with regen I mean that he'll be the same in the big lines, i.e. Zidane will have good potential etc. I don't believe in that. Check the links in my sig btw

YES YES YES

IN my 2012 game, heaps of teams in Spain, England and Italy have Italian keepers. Wonderkids and heaps of other stars.


Anyone remember that Palombo I posted. I'll put him here again. I don't thing any right back would have these stats. I seem to agree with the random player theory.

A rightback won't score that number of goals for his U21s either.

He's now ( 2 years from that pic) has 11 Azzuri caps and 1 goal.

He does have a 20 for penalty taking... Maybe that would add to his goal-tally

Yeh i was about to say he probably smashes the Penalties in. Also his heading and jumping are pretty good so he would score a few of corners

And he has decent heading, maybe he comes up with corners.
