why are they sucking so much ass this year? last year they ended the season in 2nd place... THIS YEAR, they're near the bottom of the table.

what's changed?

sorry i don't really follow spanish football. ;)

dont got a clue....maybe the CL is taking to much out of em...or now people arent suprised by them anymore so they try harder to beat em now...they are in the knockout stages in the CL though

there is no such thing as luck in la liga. ;)

and ya, lee chun soo is still with them but he hasn't been handed that much playing time.. he's arrogant and he's too young, still has a lot to learn.

Real Sociedad was always a team of the middle of the table. Last year was a big surprise. Now they haven't team for to play CL and Liga at the same time and they are concentrating more in the CL. They have to choose, CL or Liga. Celta is in the same situation.

so he's kinda like Korea's answer to Jermaine Pennant?

Real Sociedad simply havent been playing like last season, they have slacked, compared to last season, last season, they score, and dominate, but this season is like a battle for them,

simple, last season was a fantasy season.
it will never happen again.

and for those sociedad fans who think that my above point is wrong, then we can also say that they are concentrating too hard on cl.
same with celta as this is their first cl

Sociedad is really a bunch of losers. their goalie, Vesterveld is a perfect example. A quite good player rejected by another club..

Their problem for me is defense. I've watched highlights of the Sociedad vs Valladolid game (they lost 3-1) and all 3 goals were inside the area, 2 easy tap-ins, their marking is terrible.

Yeah Sociedad have some laughable defensive tactics sometimes....

Though I'm also thinking that last season was a fantasy season, but then I think not really since perhaps they are concentrating too much on the Champions League.

I for one would rather get knocked out in the Champions League and stay in the La Liga instead of being knocked out of the Champions League and also being relegated

My Point: I don't think Real Sociedad can win.... so they better save themselves in La Liga first....

Yea Lee Chun Soo is just as u guys said, I never liked him since Korea's run in the WC... :kader:

This kinda thing happen in football, teams are good one season and are ****e the next. Like Bayer Leverkusen last season, they almost relegated, now they're back to their winning ways. Same goes to Feyenoord, they used to be fairly dominant in Holland, now probably Willem II can crack em 5-0...

But I hope Real Sociedad does not relegate, they have a good Russia player Valerie Karpin, too bad the Russians are dumb and dont use him in their NT. :crazyboy:
