Whats up with Greece? Are the EA people getting lazy?

I noticed that the Greek players not only have random faces, but also the commentary does not say their names! well, ok, not all teams can have that. But Greece is the EURO champions for Gods sake! To generalise this, I noticed that there is a trend. I own all the FIFA titles since 99, and if you too you will see that since FIFA world cup 2002, they actualy reduced several aspects of team detail. Back to my Greek example, Greece in WC 2002, had all the player comentary and the players actualy looked like the real thing. Back then Greece didnt even qualify to the WC finals.
Since most of the lineup is the same, I dont think it would be hard for EA to just keep the same player commentary in their following titles is it? Its not like they had to make new ones. And this is the case for other teams too. A new product is supposed to have at least all the old features, plus new ones right?
Beyond that I saw that gameplay impoved drasticaly over FIFA 2004, and the game engine was very refined. But it still lacks over other game engines in average machines. In other words, on the same machine, you can get better graphics with PES3 for example.

Hey, be happy the Greece team is quite strong. Other than some stars like Seitaridis and the couple of Giannokopoulos', I dont really remember hearing or being able to pronounce their names.

They also have Dellas and Karagounis. thats about it. They dont even have Zagorakis, who was voted by UEFA the MVP!!! of EURO 2004!

Well, actually EA has a Greek research team, with the leader being from Pirgos (why do you think "Panileiakos" is inside the game?)

I guess that in the last games they didn't get to make any faces for the players in the Greek national team.

I guess some work could be done if they took the time to re-make those faces that were in WC2002 and get them to FIFA 2005. But I don't think there's any way known to reach them.

Ive extracted the comentary sounds for the greek players from WC 2002, so when the creation center is out we can add them (if it allows adding the ASF files).

Their style of play during the Euro was effective but very lame and all the games they played were plain boring.

Russia has had their 7-1 and I really hope we can meet Greece in the World Cup (although they probably won't be there) so we can set things straight.

Beyond my Greeklish,they should put AEK in the game.I can't understand why I buy the game every year and every year I am waiting for AEK to be inside and I only see PAOK and Paniliakos gamw ton pyrgo kai tous vlaxous olous.AEK had 6 players in the squad that took the Euro.Where the hell is AEK ??? Miliste re poustides.This year was a great game.But please put my poutana team inside the game.

LOL dont worry. He didnt say anything interesting. He was just pissed on how they dont have AEK in FIFA. And hes right, because they have Paniliakos, who I have no clue what position he was, and not have AEK which is one of the 4 top teams in greece.

BTW I enjoyed the greek style of play in the EURO. It was conservative, but it was also amazing. Nothing better than seeing the face of Figo and Zidane like that. Soccer aint just scoring you know.
