What's the minimum time for a season match ?

Hey guyz,
Just got the game. It's really great. But can't undersatnd that is the minimum half length for the season mode (which is the main attraction !!) is 6 DAMN MINUTES ????? All other game modes can b reduced to half lengths of 2 MIN, but for the season, its minimum 6 mins ??
Don't know whether I am posting a stupid message, but if any of u hav any idea behind this, plz rply.

Hmm, 2,5,10 ... 45 mins ? But are those all available in the Season mode ? Or all matches of the season are of 6+6=12 minutes ?
