Chau spens an amazing amount of time creating a program for others benifit and you come on here to call it the crap center? Write your own then we'll talk. If you dont like it dont use it but show some respect.
I'm currently creating all of the national teams. I have OFC and CONMEBOL as well as all of the UNCAF national teams complete (to my taste).

I have tested three versions of CC for 04,05 and 06. None of them has been particularily good to edit players and especially player faces with. 1. Which game of FIFA04, 05 and 06 is the best to edit, the game with the least possibility to crash or malfunction when you use CC?
2. Which CC works best?
3. How do I edit the faces of players in that possible game?
4. What editor should I use for changing the player's faces if the selected version of CC doesn't do it and which other editor can I use without making CC crash?

Btw I have a table to determine the rating of a player: (Value is from www.transfermarkt.de)
For example:
Hedwiges Maduro : 21 years old- 3.000.000 Value>> Rating 73
Dirk Kuyt: 26 years old- 18.500.00 Value>> Rating 88

It was very usefull for me. It made my game more realistic for example:
Huntelaar was 59 in Fifa 2005, because of this table I knew his rating was 83, so I modified it and now ingame he plays just like in real life.

I only do minimal editing, the logo's & banners are low quality but it's good enough for me. I dont bother with faces cause I just don't care to. CC works great for me and I have only used it on 2006. All that I said was if you do not like it, do not use it. But don't bash chau for trying.
I'm very limited in what i know about editing and have tried many different programs to achieve what I need. CC06 has been the best in every aspect of editing I've encountered so far, mostly because I can't afford programs like photoshop or access etc.

i'll tell you what I know.
CC will work differently on different computers, you have to backup your files before beginning and trouble shoot each issue individually.
On my computer I never create Fat and BH files using CC... anytime I load in logo's kits, banners etc. it forces me to save them using CC (which is a new thing for me, it didn't always do this). If it forces me to create them FIFA will crash for me. It crashes the CC at the same time. I DL'ed kit raptor which comes with FAT BH Builder. after any CC or FIFA crash i rebuild the fat and bh files with that builder. It works nearly everytime. Everything else I edit, which is team names, rivals, team chemistry, player abilities, positions, etc all works great as long as I don't create fat and BH files.
I also frequently recieve an error when trying to edit too much at once or click through too many teams at once (which i believe has something to do with low memory in my system).
"An unhandled exception has occurred in your application. If you click continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. If you click Quit. The application will be shut down immediately."
If you ever see this error, you've already lost your unsaved work, do not try to continue or the team you are on is permanently screwed up. It used to allow me only 5 players on the field and no way to restore the team other than to retore the .db file. Always click quit and redo the work you lost. and save often.
I acknowledge that the CC isn't perfect however all i have ever wanted from a soccer video game is all 206 fifa nations, qualifying tournaments, and the world cup. Chau has given me a way to do that in conjuction with tournament master 06. and thanks to them I wont be buying fifa 07 when it comes out. They have saved me incredible amounts of time (though i spend incredible amounts editing), and are now saving me money. I can't thank these programmers enough.

I could have understood it if it was only for FIFA04 but when the same problems occur year after year then I get a bit dissapointed.
As for faces, I do find it a bit annoying when a player which I edit who is supposed to be a black guy comes out as a blond, white guy. Not too funny to watch in the game.
It's not too funny either when you spend some evenings editing and the game crashes for no visible reason at all, then you check your editing and nothing is wrong but still the game crashes, mind you, I haven't created any players, just edited the already existing plus importing some kits.
If the hotshots at the EA headquarters had brains instead of wallets or used the brains they might have, then they should realise that there are a lot of people out there who like to edit the game, making kits, changing players and such. Then they should create an editor which would make it easier for us to do changes or make the game itself easier to change. That would also minimize the constant bickering of which leagues and which teams should be in the game because everyone would have the chance to edit what they wanted.
Therefore I do miss my old FIFA RTWC 98 game. It had an ingame editer which could change a lot (the only silly thing was that there was a limitation of players which could be edited). Chau also did an excellent editor called FeD for that game which could edit everything. I played that game for eight years until a new computer did stop me from playing it anymore.
If anyone could create a patch which would make it possible to play FIFA RTWC 98 on a new computer with more memory than the old ones, then I could go back to FIFA RTWC 98 and play that instead of complaining here over the edits I can't make in the newer games.

to be honest. what I'm doing atm is just creating the teams. the player abilities are based on the teams international rank. it's a pretty daunting task to create so many teams so this way simplifies things considerably.
I don't plan to keep it this way but i would be interested in seeing your player table even tho I probably won't use it (no offense).
