what happened to the german champs?

i remember reading a thread here about how french football at league level wasn't on par with german football, and everybody seemed to agree with that, well what happened with bremen? lol

granted i'm a fan of PSG but the french champions just outplayed the german champions.

You can't compare the best French team to Bremen.


Yes, they won the league but lost two very important player thus are not the same team as last year.

Let Lyon play Bayern and you will see a much closer game.

Of course Bremen was outplayed but their team is far away from that one which won the league last year.

They are like no. 3 or 4 at the moment.

Lyon lead the league, don't they? Them and Monaco are of the same quality in my opinion.

now every time i see somebody saying the french L1 is not on par with bundesliga i'm goin to happily remind them how the french champs trashed the german champs during both legs of a cl fixture.

well according to said thread since the L1 is not on par with the bundesliga, werder shouldve been able to deal with any french champ, after all aren't they supposed to be better?, hahahaha

The Bundesliga is stronger than the French league in general. So what if Lyon beat Bremen heavily, sometimes it just happens. Look at Monaco V Deportivo last season, are you gonna now carry on about how the French league is better than the Spanish league?

lyon are undebatedly the best in L1
while bremen can end up not in europe next year

im not making an argument i'm simply making a statement which is totally different, if you're mad cuz bremen lost don't try to take it out on the way i decide to post pls.

i'm not saying anything about monaco trashing deportivo simply cuz the spanish primera is obviously one of the best leagues if not the best and their fans aren't rubbing it on anybodys face like germans fans did in that thread, it didn't make me mad, but its just funny how it all worked out in the end, you know with lyon trashing bremen

flawed in what regard?, the french champs won against the german champs, yeah maybe munich will beat lyon if they meet, amybe another team will take out lyon, but still the french champs aliminated the german champs.

I didn't insult anyone, I made a statement which is my opinion and stated a fact.

Flawed in the fact that your saying the French League is stronger simply because Lyon beat Bremen. It may not be your argument, but thats how it comes across with the language you use.

With the final sentance in your post, who is disputing that the French champs beat the German champs?

everybody here seems to think that french football just doesn't deserve the same amount of spots in the cl as the rest of the bigger leagues in europe, according to what everybody seems to think the german league is just so much better that it shouldn't matter what team from the bundesliga the french champs meet, becuz the poor L1 just cannot be compared, then how is it that the german champs can't even be on the same level?, me as a PSG fan i'm supposed to take all the bashing without stating facts? no i don't think so, like i said yeah maybe Lyon will not progress any further maybe they will, but nobody can just happily come out and say that the french league is that weak when the french champions just outplayed the german champions which regardless of their current standing according to what everybody on this board seems to think should be able to win easily against the frenchies just because the 2 leagues can't even be compared. pls gimme a break

You've mentioned it may times in the thread. Suggesting other teams in the French League could be the German Champs. You even contradict yourself earlier on, you say Bremen are champs in Germany so they are the strongest team, then you say even though Lyon are champs they aren;t the strongest team in your eyes

somebody said bremen aren't the best team, i said in my eyes lyon aren't the best team, so where is the contradiction?, both are current champions of their respective leagues are they not?

i still fail to see the hole and still you couldn't quote me, im not taking any defensive stance when i said gimme a break, i'm just stating how imposible it is to to state facts against fans, i can do it a lil bit easier since i'm no fan of lyon, and as weird as it may sound i wish om could shorten lyon's lead, becuz if om make a push for le championat and win i can feel confort by the fact that psg will have won their games against the champs, of course if om can actually push for le championat.

my statement will remain as it started, poor frenchies whose league is so inferior to any other leagues, but how can they trash opponents, hahaha, i'm enjoying this hahahahaha

if the french league is NOT inferior to bundesliga, then why this kind of reaction (going to a forum to post how wonderful it was that a french side beat a german side)?

to make a statement, specially after last term, the L1 put 2 teams in the finals of both eurpean cups, and ppl still underestimate the L1. i find that totally unfair to the fans of the teams of the L1 (me included since i'm a fan of PSG), the L1 may not have the amount of quality others have, may not have the amount of money other leagues have, and still our teams can compete at the highest levels and not just show up but compete.

Last year Monaco beat chelsea, and then porto beat monaco...therefore

Portugese League > French League > EPL

well its not exaclty fair to understimate the quality of a whole league just because, and still ppl do exactly just that
