What Do You Guys Do To Manage Your Saved Games While Modding?

Hey,

I'm new to the fifa mod scene. So forgive the ignorance. This community seems to have very active modders and I'd like to start trying out many of these mods. But I've noticed anything that changes the database also corrupts career saves.

How do you guys manage that with your games? Are there specific folders I should backup and replace should a save go awry? I just recently got a mycareer players up to the mid 70s so I don't want to risk adding in mods unless I'm sure I have reliable backups of my saves.

EA changed the save format this year, so when starting from scratch:
- create a profile then save your docs folder
- with any career/league/cup mode save, save your docs and db folders
