WE9LE Online

Hi guys.

As some of you know, a year ago, thanks to efforts of couple people (Reddwarf, _anderson and TurkMania) it was possible to play this best football game on PC online. The game is basicly PES5 updated version, that was only released in Korea, but according to many, the game gives best gameplay expierience from all PC games. (Yes, PES11 included) The fact, there are still people trying to give this game some life after such a long time, proves so.

Couple months ago, 3 other people, did a great patch, with current squads, faces, kits, stadiums and so on, and so on.

Alright. In the future, if somebody would like to play, please sent me a PM, instead of just writing here or on Hamachi. I won't be checking the boards regularly, same will be with Hamachi network, while with PM, I'll get a notification through my e-mail.

Lame argumentation. It proves nothing. Some people still play PES 2008 which doesnt prove that the game is good but only that these guys are morons and have no clue about soccer in general.

You have fair point.

My argumentation in this case might not be too acurate, but it doesn't change the fact about the game. And if you would try it, I'm sure you would find that it's an amazing game. Basicly, I could say anything, and still in the end, what would matter most to the person is his own views of the game once they play it.

But I can tell you this: I have never met a person, who played that game, and wasn't suprised (positively) about it.

I encourage you to try it, and if you want to try it PM me. I promise you won't be dissapointed.

I played the game many years ago. Let me tell you one thing. PES2011 is not perfect but its the first game where there arent any easy moves or goals.

PES5 and 6 had these flaws. And finally now i am able to put gamespeed to -2 so that the game doesnt feel like pintball.

Ill never play the old games they dont compare to PES 2011

Cutbacks...no need to build up the play in order to shoot long rangers....goalkeeper and throw in bug.

WE9LE is all about build up the play. If you don't pass, and the other team is not pressing high up the pitch, and is deffending with most guys, you will have no chance by playing direct football, or just focus on counters. It will not work.

Long range shots ain't easy, unless you play with someone who doesn't know how to set his team up.

Goalkeepers were broken in PES5. In WE9LE they are fixed.

Don't know what you mean about throw in bug ??

It is not a thread to compare WE9LE with others It is a thread if someone would be interested to try it, and see for himself, that the game is fantastic in itself.

Like I've said, I can write an editorial here, but in the end, this won't convince anybody, as one has to try the game for himself. Anybody who did though, was impressed by the realism, and the ballance of the gameplay (percentage of misspasses, the chance of dribbling other players and so on and so on)

Realism of gameplay. I can't tell you right now exactly, cause I played PES2011 some months ago, and I won't do face to face comparison.

Essentialy both games are about football, and there are many small things that make the game project the reall football better or worse. When you play a game, that is about the sport that you know well, you can tell exactly after 5-10 games if the game represents reality well or not. For me it's all about that. If the game is too fast, if the game allows things that in reality wouldn't be possible to do as often, etc. etc. then the game is growing more towards the "bad" side.

WE9LE is not as pretty as the next gen football games, but it deffinetly is the most accurate, that when you play it, you can see that it's as if you watched this on TV. That's why WE9LE is so great. Because it is the closest you get to the real football as is in real life.

I've told you about your points, and how they weren't accurate. I'm not suggesting anything, but maybe you played the game too long ago, and maybe some games you got mixed up (WE9LE with PES5 for instance).

Well, a year ago the majority of PES players played PES2010.

Does the majority of players playing the newest game is a definite proof of how good it is comparing, to its predecesors ? I think not.

It just means, that the majority likes to play the newest game of the series, that's all. I've already met people who were fed up with PES2011, and wanted to try WE9LE for example. They are not complaing BTW

It depends how well you will play. If you will set your team wrong, if you'll not deffend well, then ofcourse you will notice the cutbacks. But it won't be because of the fault of the game, but of your fault. Just like in real life. Unless you say, that in real life cutbacks can't happen ?

So as in real life... if you let the other team to exploit that part of the field, there will be more cutbacks. But if you play well, there might be none.

I would encourage you, to try the game one more time. Maybe you didn't play WE9LE, but WE9, or some other version of the PES5.

One important announcment (for future participants )

Hamachi network is full (max 16 people), for which I was unfortunetly aware recently. The good thing is that it means there is more willing people to play it than I expected at first. The bad news is that Hamachi is no good if we want to get all people at one place. After some long search, the vote was put on Facebook, at least until somebody will sugges something better. However, it offers everything we need: Possibility to join the whole group, and at the same time seeing every other member who already joined in before, no limits on number of people in the group, the general group chat, the individual chat, the abbility for offline instant messaging, and possibility to write on the group wall posts about news/problems.

If somebody is interested, or if somebody will come to this place in the future, you can ask me about the game on PM's. However, if there were some problems with the email notifications (as some boards do), I might not be aware somebody tries to contact me. This game is way ahead of anything we have seen so far. Gamplay wise the game has only 5-7 minor annoying things. But this game rocks. I have played a few WC with Brazil and i have scored some amazing goals. It looked like the real deal.

LOLPES 2011 has more than just amazing goals. YOu now need to build up the play if you really want an opening. I have been amazed by this game a fe times which has never happened on any other game.

Yes but im referring to PES as in PES2011. Btw WE9LE is not PES its the asian version and somehow slightly different. That is why we are comparing these games.
