It's a PS2 X-port file. Someone else posted a MaxDrive file as well there for the PS2.

When you put it on your memory card, the file will say PES5 but don't worry. The file is a WE9 option file. Remember, it's an X-port file for PS2 of the PESFAN v.2 option file.

I don't have a maxdrive, only a x-port. Here are two options for you:

1) download the x-port file and convert it to maxdrive. I believe at pesinsight they have some tools for this type of thing.

or

2) register at operationsports.com and go to the soccer forums. Someone posted a maxdrive version there.

Does anyone know how i can transfer files from my pc to ps2 the cheap way I know there is a max drive but is there a way someone can build there own hookup, with usb to usb cable if their is anyone that know how to rig something up, let me know i hate to have to spend money on a max drive or what every its call

Well it's the PESFAN v.2 file so yeah, everything is edited with real kits, player names, and logos. From what I understand the transfers are updated up to but not does not include january transfers.

I'm not too familiar with this, but does shark port work to upload this?

Yep. A sharkpork will let you transfer option files, game saves, etc between your PC and your PS2.

I think I paid $30 a few years ago for mine. Definitely money well worth it in my opinion. Even is I just use it for transferring WE & PES option files.
