saw the game through sportaitalia 'coolstreaming', some very good chances. Turkey should have put away atleast 3, Greece had a few good ones too, Giannkopoulos hitting the crossbar. anyways not bad I'll download it off greek-torrents.com, they should have the game available for download by tomorrow.

mleh, poor tactics, cheap tactics. its a direct adaptation of dump and chase hockey. It's very poor football by greeks. We're suppost to be adding beauty to the game, not shame. These kinds of tactics, where defenders just boot the ball and hope the opposiing defenders make a mistake is just ruining this beautiful game. But all teams are free to do whatever, the score is neither good nor bad for us. We'll see what happens tuesday or wednesday, whenever the game is.

ah wahtever. it was a bad idea to star tthis thread. I've said everything i needed to say, Dump and Chase tactics, mimicing Ice Hockey style of play, 35% possession, dirty cheap play..like, these are the crowns of europe? makes you wonder.

The result isn't a fair one, but football is football.

I have followed the game through show radyo and I couldn't believe what I have heard from the commentator. He said that the players were told to cross the ball lower cause we had short strikers, no one was there to head the balls in or at least control the air balls from crosses. I remember Hakan Sukur's head passes or even better his headers made him famous. It doesn't have to be Hakan Sukur but we don't have a better tall striker at the moment.
