This is not gonna be an easy game by any means. We tend to struggle against hardworking/physical teams. In the group stages , USA was the team with least indivual talent, and we struggled. If we can get through this game, we have a favourable draw against either Swiss/Ukraine. This is the kinda game Gattuso is made for.

Im sure Gattuso's role will be to cover Cahill, and I think if we can contain him, we should take this one.

what luck? Hey, im glad Portugal beat Holland today, but you guys were lucky Kuyt hit it straight at Ricardo, and Cocu hit the crossbar.

you had mexico, Iran and Angola while we had one of the toughest groups. If all the favourites did their job, we'd have had to face Croatia and than France on route to the semi's. People wouldnt have said that was favourable. Is it our fault Australia was better than Croatia and Swiss better than France?

I dont wanna make this another Portugal vs Italy thread,,,,, we can always save that for the potential final ?
