Kaka's one of the classiest players in the game, how anyone can dislike him (especially for religious beliefs - he only uses it to do good) is beyond me and can only be the opinion of someone of German descent. You people are just full of hate, aren't you? (H)

Hm, maybe they are. I'm not of german descent and still hate his religious beliefs.

He's overrated as a football player, and you have no idea what his beliefs are. I can almost guarantee you he is homophobic at the very least. You people are acting like Kaka is some sort of Saintly, Manute Bol-esque guy building hundreds of hospitals across the world.

And even if he personally isn't a religious dickhead, he's enabling his church which is full of dickheads with his endorsement and contributions.

my friends and I find the whole "I belong to Jesus" thing quite hilarious ... I/we can't personally do anything about his ignorant ways, and I don't see a need to breed any hatred toward him because of it ...

he's considered "classy" coz he's not known to play rough or dirty, while he is very smooth with his movements, and has a fairly amiable demeanour while on the pitch ... what he does in his private life cannot be part of what we judge him on while he's on the pitch ...

and how is he overrated? no one has said that he's the best ever, or even close ... he is a genuine star contributer and definitely one of the best in the world when uninjured, and his track record at Milan shows as much ... EDIT: actually, him getting into the finalists for the World Player of the Year last year was a joke; but blame that one on the coaches and captains, not the fans or even journalists ...

Ridiculous reason to hate a player due to his religious beliefs. Really pathetic. What the f*ck do religious beliefs have to do with football? You c*nt. For your info, there some players in your team who share Keita's religious beliefs. Altintop, Ribery are examples.

EDIT: Just realised you were talking about Kaka, not Keita. My bad. I take back what I said.

I have no problem with Muslims and I don't know why you would think I do. Kaka's religion is so extreme that it has been described as a "cult". I believe in freedom of religion, obviously everyone has the right to choose whatever religion they want, but I am allowed to think someone is an asshole or a retard because of their choice. Religion is a choice, it's not like race, ethnicity, national origin, or sexual orientation; if someone makes a retarded choice they should not be immune from criticism.

Religious beliefs don't have anything to do with football. So what? Rest assured the reason I dislike Pat Robertson is not his skill on the football pitch.

I understand what you mean and I respect your opinion. But I just hate it when people bring religious/political matters in football. To me what Keita did was no different to what Busquets or Rivaldo (or any other diving c*nt) did. I wouldn't hate one of these players more because I don't like his religious views. Just my way of thinking.

I hate Kaka cause he's a dick. All his religious stuff aren't related at all with his behavior. He's still acting like he's a spoiled kid. I don't like him at all.

You continue to go stir **** by misinterpreting what people say. Shifty was talking about Kaka, not Keita, Kaka's Christian views, not Keita's Muslim views, and how can you say that you respect his opinion after calling him a ****?

I don't care at all about Kaka's, or any other players' religious beliefs so long as they keep it private. But Kaka IS overrated, or else he wouldn't have been a finalist for the World Player of the Year award. I know a lot of people who still think he's one the best players currently active, despite him having done nothing noteworthy for 2 years now, at least.

For some reason I thought he was talking about Keita. just read the whole thing again. Now makes more sense. My bad.

I also agree that Kaka is very overrated. Good player, but certainly not top 5.

As much as I dislike his religion, Kaká doesn't even talk about it. How can you hate him?

lol exactly. Kaká has to be one of the nicest guys in football now days. Some of you may not like him, but his behavior is usually exemplary (one who followed his career throughout the years has to acknowledge this) and he has his beliefs, but it's not like he's telling people to support them.

Also Keita's behavior as much as many other CIV players was absolutely disgusting to watch, sore losers. Funny you guys lashing out on Kaká, what did the guy ever do? Gimme a ******* break.

Calling Kaka overrated because he's been pretty much injured over the course of the past 2 seasons? Unfair really; when fit he's one of the best in the world, and nobody can deny that. He was off against North Korea but was a man of the match candidate yesterday before the sending off.
